Don't forget that there are also mills that had more than one power source. On a cliffside like that, I could easily see the drive shaft going into the rock, where a run-off flow existed. When the water flowed, that was the power...but due to rock structure, it turns the mill backwards from wind power. When the runoff is dry, or frozen, the wind is the driving force.
Or someone screwed the pooch in their coding (since the female was walking forwards, it is highly unlikely they flipped the video, y'know?).
