Have footage, sure.. but worldwide exclusive first-ever gameplay footage, designed for public/consumer consumption?

Footage is still footage. And yes, some games have been shown at GDC for the first time, regardless of whether one considers that footage "designed for public consumption." It still ended up being the first time anyone saw the game running.

I don't know where all the doubt is coming from. Pete isn't known for being sarcastic. Gameplay will come in a good month, meaning about 31 days, possibly less or more.

I think he just means February should be a "good" month. So more info and possibly gameplay footage coming during the month of February.

Who is to say possibly? Everyone who he responded to asked about gameplay, two of them only asked about gameplay. Why would he be talking about other information if he responded to people asking about gameplay?

He meant that it will be "a good month" as in "some good Skyrim stuff will be released during this month." Since he was responding to a question about gameplay, I think that will include gameplay footage.

sometimes when i need time i say "give me a good minute" or something like that. So i understand why people would think that maybe in a months time something will come out, but let's not get our hopes up. Cause it's still a good 9 months till the game comes out

I think you get the reading of "gameplay will be revealed in about a month" if you read Pete's answer after the question "when will gameplay be revealed?" Context is important here.

Compare: "When are you going to be done painting your house?" Reply: "Should be a good week (or so)"

I read Pete's tweet along those lines.

(I think he's referring to GDC or PAX, really).

Same thing I got out of it.

Exactly. So by not expecting it by march you won't be setting yourself up for disappointment.

I'm more worried about the official website right now. Its been almost two months since the announcement and the gi coverage is over. The site is due for an update.
