Whether people believe it or not,i'm glad the OP shared it with us.
It may cheer some people up,we have had some un-needed negativity in the forums.

God of War 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Ninja Gaiden 2, Mass Effect 2, Spore, Batman: Arkham Asylum, SOCOM 4, Paper Mario, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, are just a few of the games I was able to find (on YouTube in a ten second search) that have had gameplay footage at GDC over the years. So it's very possible, if not at all certain.

Have footage, sure.. but worldwide exclusive first-ever gameplay footage, designed for public/consumer consumption?

That's just great...

GDC starts on a monday after the vacation of 1 week. <_<

Agree. We can expect some new info or screenshots, but "GAMEPLAY VIDEO COMING IN A MONTH ! ! !" is a stretch.

Personally I'm going to avoid gameplay videos among other things spoilers so I can look at Skyrim with fresh eyes and not know what to expect.

Why is it that people don't care about all caps for something like this but then as soon as someone posts a thread that they do not agree with/ does not excite them they jump up and down on the posters head until they are very sad? Oh and I will not comment on the tweet. I am already to excited. I am going to calmly walk out of this thread now before freaking out...

This place is funny Every single word, screen shot, sentence in an editorial, fuzzy concept art on a far-off wall in a video, inflection of voice in a pod cast, or vague twitter post is immediately dissected, anolyzed, re-anolyzed, re-over-anolyzed, read into, and is an absolute confirmation of (depends on who interpreted), then regurgitated around the forum as fact. It's actually entertaining.

No that just means only press will be allowed in. We can still get video and/or anything else. IGN/gamespot always have gdc coverage on their website.

Well, Srk said later in the thread that they have an idiom like that in Australia so maybe he did mean it like that. Who knows?

Personally I'd like both February to be "a good month", and gameplay footage at PAX/GDC. To be honest both seem quite likely.
