He replied to three guys asking 'when can we drop jaws?' This was a reference to the internal demoing of skyrim. Pete Hines said the the internal huys dropped jaws...

I don't think they have explicity said this have they? It just says should be a good month. With the GDC date, it's a real possibility though.

Well, I was going to say it's good news, but it doesn't say a gameplay trailer in one month, it said "this should be a good month". Maybe it will be good because there is a gameplay trailer coming out, but there could certainly be other reasons for why it would be a good month, it's probably best not to get TOO excited about this.

then why did he reply to the guys asking about the gameplay trailer? There wouldn't be any reason for that If he didn't want to refer to it...

Problem is.. "should be a good month" doesn't mean "next month" or "in a month" at any point. If anything it's referring to this month. And it only says about this month that it will be good. So far that would tell me that he's implying gameplay will be this month, not the next...But then there's also a "be patient" infront, which can refer to the hopes for gameplay. If it does refer to them, it doesn't specify any date.

I'm not trying to deny the possibility of gameplay here.. In fact it seems very plausible considering there are conventions and stuff next month. I just don't get where in the sentence people, including native English speakers, read this. I'm not a native English speaker. If I'm missing something here, I'd be happy to know.

If he said "this should be a good month" don't that mean this month not next month? I haven't read the link or anything but if he is answering a question on gameplay footage, then that quote to me says this month not a month.

One don't need to overanolyse every word he posts one twitter, he just replied quickly to a few posts. I don't think he makes up his mind a lot when posting, therefore for me it's clear that he is refering to it, for other people it might won't. Ultimately, I just wanted to share this info in the way I understood his post...

I think you get the reading of "gameplay will be revealed in about a month" if you read Pete's answer after the question "when will gameplay be revealed?" Context is important here.

Compare: "When are you going to be done painting your house?" Reply: "Should be a good week (or so)"

I read Pete's tweet along those lines.

(I think he's referring to GDC or PAX, really).

He could just be saying
"Don't worry, guys. This is going to be a good month for info, so you won't be starved. Be patient and you'll eventually get some gameplay.

I think you are right on this one. So in other words a month or two is about the time frame at least that is what i think anyways.
