You'd be happy if they said they are doing it to minimize clipping? Ive already noticed clipping, like the pc arm clipping with his armor in the shot of him walking into town with the guard and dog. Clipping is going to happen, and I'd much rather have greaves separate. I'll take clipping over less slots any day.

The whole loss of even MORE armor slots is the most disappointing thing i have heard about this game, IT LITERALLY TOPS EVERYTHING that may slightly bother me.

This truly depresses me.

Enchanting coming back has got to be the main reason why, well for Greaves at least. Pauldrons were never confirmed to be back from Morrowind.

Pauldrons would be nice, but they are NOTHING in comparison to greaves. If they lose greaves... no, that's not really acceptable, in my opinion. Pauldrons are smaller, but connecting cuirasses and greaves is not much better than just combining the whole suit. Boots, helmets, gauntlets, and pauldrons are practically nothing in comparison to a unified cuirass/greaves piece that makes up well over half of the entire armor set, alone. That's too much. Doing such a thing would leave nearly no space for actual armor customization. As much as I'm sad to say it, I don't have high hopes for the separation of the two, at this point, but I can't believe it seems they're actually doing such a thing. Again, cuirasses and greaves make up a huge majority of the armor set without the other things. What actual customization is there in suits that basically are one-piece suits, considering how small and trivial the other parts are in comparison?

Well, i hope modders can fix the armor so we can have chest and legs individual.
