As a PC gamer, are you satisfied with your purchase?

ill be happy when the Ck is released, until then im dissapointed

its a catch 22 situation

u buy it on PC and it has major flaws! - but u get a CK to fix them and improve the game even more!!

this game is only half complete without the CK!

there are many people out there with lowend pcs to, dont blame console for everything.

Many people with lowend people doesn't mean that there could also be an option for better graphics on highend PCs. But there isn't lowend or highend consoles, thats why they left the highend part from PCs.

I voted no. But that doesn't mean that i don't LOVE this game with a passion.

I love games, and i play on PC. So, i want to see games make the most out of the latest hardware.

I'm satisfied that skyrim is an awesome game, but knowing it could of looked Sooooooooo much better on the PC i voted No.

Imagine if this game supported the latest tech!!!! It would be even better.

But as usual, us PC gamers are pissing against the wind. Nothing will be done.

There are already numerous texture packs and FXAA Post Process Injector mods out there. There is a more realistic water mod, a more detailed sky mod, 2048x2048 ground textures, etc. The game looks much better if you download a few of those. I've downloaded like 200megabytes of hires textures and now I got a new game :D

Can't vote for some reason. My answer is yes: I got way more than my money's worth with this game and the short loading screens on PC plus eventual mods make it the smart platform choice.

Very happy now after I've made .ini and Large Address Aware tweaks. The game runs silky smooth and looks great.

At first I didn't like the game very much, but I found out it was the Compass. After I disabled Compass and Crosshair the game became very immersive and great.

I'm a bit burnt out now to be honest, but it's definitely worth the £24 I paid for it.

Yes, it's a great game, and missing out on it would be silly.

However - the interface is 'the worst I can remember for any pc game', and the graphics engine is rather poor for 2011.

I've had lots of bugs and glitches, i've lost a character due to saves errors and overwrites, but overall, this is the best game i've played in a while, easily in the top 5 games of all time for me.
It's scope is enourmous, the freedom inside it is unparalleled, the mechanics are brilliant, gameplay is smooth and intuitive... Having spent money in pathetic releases like Space Marine, Skyrim is well worth it's money and setting the bar really high...
Short answer: Yes i am!

After playing the game for about 45 hours on pc I can honestly say that if I was taken 10 days back in time and the prize of Skyrim would had been 200€ and there was absolutely no other way of getting it than just paying the cash, I would pay. I`m not wealthy btw, the game is just simply that good. My mind has been 99% on Skyrim for the past 10 days.

Not really, because it requires steam..so the game isn't mine.

More than happy. I've had to deal with a plethora of technical issues, but once it's running properly Skyrim is the best Elder Scrolls yet. Oblivion can't compare, and it even overshadows Morrowind. I know a lot of people are having issues; once they get fixed, you're in for a treat.

I don't get this... it only requires steam for activation. you don't have to be logged into steam to play the game.

Of course i am a bit disappointed by the low-res graphic but overall i am very satisfied. Skyrim is for me a great synergy of morrowind and oblivion and Skyrim includes aspects of mods i played oblivion with because i missed them in vanilla. Nevertheless i hope Bethesda will work out a solutions for current failures and bugs. Especially Casting seems to be not optimal solved.

I have a problem with polls that only have Yes or No options. In this case, I would like to answer Somewhat Satisfied; I have some minor criticisms and NTPs (Nits To Pick), but primarily I dislike the UI intensely.

It's more of a console interface but it works actually pretty well if you forget about your mouse almost completely. You can use WASD to navigate in all of the menus and submenus very easily. You can use E to activate pretty much anything. You can easily set 8 hotkeys to any item/spell you want. Yes, it's a very weird interface if you try to use it with your mouse but it's surprisingly intuitive if you start using only your keyboard.

I bought the collectors edition and yes, I think it was worth it.
Sure, there are things that bother me, it's not a perfect game, but the things I do like about it far outshine the flaws. I've played games where the opposite was true (Saint's Row 2 on PC as an example, fun game terrible port.)

Also, I can mod the game if I so choose, completely changing/removing the aspects that I don't like. Not to mention The vast amount of replayability. So yeah, worth it.

Yes, overall my experience has been very good. I have had some crashes but I expect those to be fixed with the next patch, although it certainly hasn't stopped me from playing

Very Satisfied. love the game. I have experienced two bugs in 60 hours of play, and they were both hilarious. Sure the interface is wonky, but usable if you hot key. Even if this is a "console port" the fact that TES has kept console controls and releasing a CreationKit despite this shows that Bethesda knows who the real fans are. If you don't like the interface, change it, if you think the textures are low res, change it. ect ect

I'm extremely satisfied...although seeing a lot of posts on here makes me ashamed to be a PC gamer.. I definitely don't want to be associated with the whiny few who somehow manage to generate 90% of the negativity on these boards. These people don't seem to realize that the vast majority of people buying the game are on console OR on a PC that didn't cost over a grand to make; its laughably arrogant that this small amount of individuals expect a better version of the game than the majority. Yes. the textures weren't spectacular - so I downloaded about half a dozen or more texture mods and tweaked the .ini to my liking, as well as setting my video card to run the game at far past the default "Ultra" settings. Its really not a difficult concept but then I guess misery loves company, eh?

I haven't had any problems that couldn't be easily fixed. By far the best game I've ever owned.

Although the menu interface is clearly designed for a console, I love this game. I've been playing it every spare moment I have since I installed it last week.

As a PC gamer, I hate the fact that the money is in the console market, but I've come to accept it. Really, we're lucky that (some) games are still designed as well as they are for cross-platform performance.

Skyrim is one of those well-designed games. I've already gotten my money's worth, and I will continue to play the hell out of it for a long, long time.
