The only reason I saw them as that is because I'm kinda addicted to good sound quality and the real life headphones look similar.

Check out the newer model (comes in black,white and green).
These things are beasts. An iPod can't power them, you need a full size amp. Plus they are rather expensive ￡350 but for all of that you get epic sound quality.
