The moral is to always wear your power armor while playing...

At least he lived, but I wonder how his character fared, eh?

Did the Xbox survive though? Since he's alright, this is the next question that needs to be asked.

Plot twist - He managed to finish killing a mythic deathclaw and save the game before hitting the ground.

Probably because the guy driving the uninsured car doesn't have any money to pay if sued.

In all seriousness I wish this gamer a speedy recovery and plan to help out with a small donation! This could have been anyone!

And to that uninsured jack donkey .. Stop driving an uninsured car and maybe try not testing gamers settlement strength by ramming through the walls in a vehicle. This is the reason raiders don't have cars in fallout 4; they would ram through the settlement fences.

NO CHARGES AGAINST THE DRIVER?!?!

Man, the cops where I live throw the damn book at me if I so much as forget to signal. How the HELL does this lady get away with what she's done, and with no insurance to boot?

She should be banned from driving, at least.

If he were playing on pc he would've stopped the car with his mouse hand, given the driver of the car a lecture about why his driving was inferior, told him to upgrade to something better, and then continued to play.

That's either a very political thing, or.... What they mean is that she won't be charged with assault or negligence for the accident itself, or suchlike criminal charges, but you can bet she will get fines for driving uninsured and a suspension on her license with perhaps some jail time or community service as well.

As for suing her, if she can't afford insurance, she probably could never cover the attorney fees of the lawyers hired to sue her, or any damages levied against her, so that means not only would the guy still have hospital bills he'd still have to pay his lawyers and court costs on top of it.

it could've been a lot worse, this happened at an old ex's apt complex a long time ago where a jeep cherokee went through the window (1st floor was half underground) and decapitated resident while laying in their bed

Am I correct in assuming the name of the lady driving was... Beth?

Aggressive bit of advertising that.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/man-playing-fallout-4-gets-hit-by-car-and-survives/1100-6433227/ He credits his "gaming" chair with saving his life.

A man was hit by a car while playing http://www.gamespot.com/fallout-4 in his home last Sunday. He survived with injuries and attributes his survival to being a gamer.

http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2015/12/16/gamer-hit-by-car-while-playing-fallout-4-in-his-home-survives/ reported that Ben Rose was travelling through Fallout 4's Bostonian wasteland when a Hyundai Sonata came crashing through the wall of his home. The accident fractured his vertebra and sliced his Achilles tendon.

"You play in a wasteland and then your apartment turns into a wasteland," said Rose. "Cars versus people don't really end up well. So I really thought it was over."

He credited his special rolling "gaming" chair with saving his life.

"The chair is what saved me, without a doubt. That took the impact. It pushed me out of the way. It kept me from going under the car," explains Rose.

Irving police believe the driver hit the accelerator when they meant to hit the brakes.

One of Rose's friends started a https://www.gofundme.com/HelpForBenzo, trying to raise money to help Rose pay for medical costs and lost wages.
