Must have been the rabbit of Caerbannog!

By the way, I totally see that mod coming in the first few days after release!

That would make a great easter egg. A really strong rabbit.

Can someone explain that thing about crysis to me? I don't quite understand it..

I think it's talking about the radial menu (circle). Up is your perks, down is the map, left is magic, right is inventory. So for a PC gamer (like myself), I can press the middle mouse button to move around the radial menu.

Thank you for clearing that up! I was confused at first.

I read somewhere that it'll be a compass interface. I guess it'll be like FNV's companion wheel but smaller and with those four previously mentioned menu options (perks, magic, map, inventory).

Liquid fire?

i doubt its what the poster thinks or has put forward
it sounded like just some diction the article writer wanted to throw into his writing to make it more... fantasy-ish
so probably just fire

Yeah, serious and realistic combat...like 100% chameleon/absorb/reflect. Like backpedaling 500 miles per hour. Like enemies taking 400 arrows and still alive.

Nice. Well said. I think the changes I've heard about marksmanship so far are all awesome. I applaud the evolution and innovation. A lot of change and technology has occurred since Oblivion and it would be a shame if Bethesda ignored positive advancements for the sake of tradition. That said, I'm sure it will (better be) still be an RPG vs. a run-of-the-mill shooter like everything else out there.

Does anybody else hope that High Hrothgar is so high that you can climb above the clouds? That would make an incredible view.

But yeah, thanks for the info. Spiffy stuff...

Just found this article, gave it a good read and damn, good thing is E3 is just around the corner, because it gave my Hype-O-Meter a good jump.

Also the writer describes the graphics + environments as "The best looking game I've ever seen".

Dragon remains stay? There must not be many of them then, which is good.

WRONG!!!

they already confirmed that there would be ENDLESS amounts of dragons, they are a constant threat... besides, you need to absorb the dragons' souls in order to fuel your dragon shout ability...

if there were only a few dragons in the game, that would mean we'd be unable to use dragon shouts for very long, then there goes the whole point behind the main quest.

im worried that the remains stay permanently, and that'll cause the game to become extremely unstable like fallout 3... thats the last thing we need, because after 3-4 dragon battles, it'll start lagging and breaking down, most likely.

Also the writer notes

"... but his flame spell is what really applies the hurt- the trolls cry out in agony, slowly baking alive"

Does that mean that burnt enemies will actually incinerate? Would be cool

What the hell. Seriously Bethesda. Why? This isn't Red Dead Redemption. TES games should have serious and realistic combat, not fancy gimmicks, perks or special moves found in action games. I've been worrying about combat for a while now and this pretty much confirms my worst fears.

errr it make sense, what the hell u talking about

i guess arrow shud 1 hit kill enemies

why character will "lvl up"?doesnt make sense to me

why there is dragon ?

why i can use magic in the game?

Now I will edit this later after I read the article and interview PC Gamer did with Todd Howard, so cross your fingers for new info!

EDIT:

--"The dragon screams and flaps its stealth-bomber-sized wings. It knows its invulnerable-its too high to reach with an arrow, and beyond the ranger og magic. All we can do is watch as the dragon circles like a hawk awaiting the moment to strike its prey. At the controls...Todd Howard brandishes his longsword and shield, braced and ready for the inevitable attack. Suddenly, the dragon drops from the sky like meteor and slams the frozen tundra directly in front of him, blasting a cloud of snow out from underneath its cruel talons. Thew entire mountain shakes in protest-this legendary beast is as big as a two story house. Howard raises his shield as the dragon's scale-armored neck bobs and waves, cool and calculating. Then, as fast as the crack of a bullwhip, the foul lizard opens its jaws, sprays our hero's shield with liquid fire, and charges like a 15-ton battering ram."

--"...Howard walks away...[from the] dragon's smoldering, bleached bones." Is it confirmed that dragon remains stay, like after closing an Oblivion gate the 'ruins' stay?

I don't think dragon remains will stay behind, because they've said that there's unlimited dragons, which has the potential to fill the world with dragon remains, given enough time, provided the remains stay behind.

--Though its been confirmed 3rd person improved, Todd says that Skyrim will be more effective in 3rd person.

-"...liquid fire..." Metaphor or is some sort of 'lava' power revealed?

probably just a metaphor.

--Using magic in both hands will double the power, but double your magicka drain [Plus theres effects on your hands like in BioShock, but I think this was already confirmed]

I'm actually a little miffed by this, why double the drain when you already have the disadvantage of having no weapon or shield in hand.

--"...The higher you climb, the more severe weather you get..."

New! this sounds interesting, hoping there's some kind of damage effect if you don't have warm clothes.

--"we added rivers to dungeons as a way of naturally leading the player to certain destinations..."

Interesting, I guess that could work.

--"So if they play Crysis or anything like that, the mechanics of what we're doing, like interface-wise or controls, is not terribly different." [woah....]

Again, don't put too much into it, Crysis was legendary for it graphics, saying the interface is similar doesn't really tell us much.

--"You can swing your sword when it's low, you just cant do the bigger moves if you don't have enough stamina."

This is good, makes stamina more important.

--[THIS I found a bit interesting]:

What's you best guilty pleasure moment?

Theres some evil things, if thats what you're asking. The artists have recently put rabbits in the game. I looked over, and there's this little rabbit. he's sitting there, chewing like a rabbit would, but I wanted see if they had really made it work, and he was just sitting there so I took my mace and went WACK!...and it went "Waaaaaaaahhhh!" But it didnt die, so im like: WACK! and that killed it. But in the moment I thought, "wow it lived through that and now Im going to crush it again to make it die," and I felt really terrible. But really, I was just making sure that, "OK, yes, they out rabbits in the game." [Oh Todd! ]

[Thats it, thanks for reading! :tops:

I'm so gonna kill rabbits in the game.

It's confirmed that there are an infinite number of dragons in-game. The game calculates how much time has passes since you've fought your last dragon and sees if it's time to spawn a new one. But I doubt they'll all be just spawned and respawned one after another, so I wouldn't be too worried.

I imagine they will have them flying around all the time but only have them engage you when the time is right.

AS for the rabbits...two mace blows!?

That's a tough rabbit.
