So you can mine with local npc's? Are the mines in town or do you get to travel with the locals to find mines out of town?

Out of town , also i made a mistake by saying '' Iron ore'' , in the mag it just says, chip out some ''ore''.

Which got me thinking , that it would be cool , if you could mix in Alchemy base metal's, like copper, iron, zinc ,ect , into some uber killing weapon. :flamethrower:

Its not out of the question. Ebony, adamantium, diamonds, emeralds, and rubies were alchemy ingredients in Morrowind.

Yes , It says specifically " 2 handed Polearms ''

And when you cross reference - Polearm's - with either of the other's, there is a big red X , meaning you cant duel wield either Magic ,Swords or Shields with them.

Wait, it actually specifies two-handed polearms, implying that there are one-handed polearms?

Dual wielding short spears confirmed.

some additonal stuff.

Regarding spell combos , the mag says - Bethesda are hoping to let you combine spells with one another , though exactly how ,is'nt nailed down until their sure they can do it.

Regarding radiant story , The target of an assassination quest , rather than a stranger, might be picked from the charchter you,ve spent most time with , making the decision to kill them a more intresting experince.

Also there is a bit of info on the main quest , but 1, i dunno if its been already posted , 2, if its already known through lore 3, dont wanna spoil.

@ Arilas , No it's 2 handed

That's... not really what I meant. If it actually says two-handed pole-arms on the chart, than that implies that there are one-handed polearms (that, if we were to have an utterly exhaustive chart, would have their own row and column)

Combining spells sounds like spellmaking, so it's good to hear they're still working on that.

Thanks for the info!

The bit about the 9 holds is good to hear. But I hope that they're not just divided into pro- and anti-Empire. It'd be nice if most of them were opposed to some aspects of the Empire, but not others, and took some steps to achieve their political agendas, but not others. But a lot of Bethesda's talk about their design focus for this game has been about making your choices meaningful - that is, if the game presents you options X and Y, then the difference had better be more than cosmetic. So I'm optimistic that if there are 9 distinct factions (perhaps not joinable), then how you interact with one will be different from how you interact with any of the others.

Dragon shouts: thanks for this info. This confirms my prediction for how they'd work - you learn shouts by reading words on walls, but the words only "appear" to you if you've killed dragons.

Ahh i see , yea i guess it can be interpreted both ways, but i agree it does seem to imply there could be 1 handed aswel.

btw the icon the mag used to represent Polearm's is a Poleaxe.

Health, Magic, or Stamina/Fatigue well now that would be a tough choice at level up. A Mage will choose Magic while a Warrior will want the higher health. Sounds good I can't wait for more new info :icecream:

Okay, just picked up a copy myself, and I can confirm that there are definitely new screenshots. The reason they sound so similar to GI screens is because they are similar, just from different angles. There are at least two new ones I'll describe below, and possibly another two new shots which show the player walking in a dungeon.

1) Looks very similar to http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/dor/objects/93395/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/images/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110211094610642.html?page=mediaFull screenshot from GI (which is also in this copy of OXM) but is from a lower angle and much closer to the Player Character. The camera is positioned at the base of his sword hilt, as he stands in a combat stance and warily eyes the dragon flying above him. The mountains aren't in view this time thanks to the lower dynamic angle, and the detail on his arm is incredible. This isn't just a cropped version of the GI image, it's a new lower angle.

2) Looks similar to http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/dor/objects/93395/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/images/elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-20110211094554924.html?page=mediaFull screenshot (which again, is also in OXM). This time the camera is facing the front of the dragon rather than the side, is closer to the dragon, and is slightly below it. The dragon is roaring to his left. Seems to be perched on the same ruin, so I'm betting they just swiveled the camera around and took a shot from another angle. The sun is shining straight on the dragon, so this would be an AMAZING screen to really anolyze them... but... OXM has decided to make this screenshot really small. When OXM or Bethesda uploads this in HD though, I'm sure it will be amazing. Really captivating and well-lit dragon shot.

Hope that clears up some of the confusion regarding new screenshots. These two are certainly new :celebration:
