PC gamers in the backseat again.

That's a lot more difficult than you might think. In fact, I don't remember the last time I played a game that was on both console and PC that used a single interface between the two that actually worked well for both a gamepad and keyboard & mouse. It's part of the reason I prefer using a gamepad for non-exclusive pc games; they're almost all designed with a gamepad in mind these days.

No, they really don't. Can you cite an example of how they do? FO4 and Skyrim don't even have proper modding support anymore. Adding and removing mods in Skyrim will inevitably lead to a corrupt save eventually. Add in the clunky UI, terrible optimization, and hard-coded key bindings, and I'm really not seeing how FO4 favors PC over consoles.

Wow you TOTALLY don't get the OP, and yes its 2015 big deal, that just makes the point even more on target and SAD.... they had 8 YEARS to add functionality for BOTH. it s not about one or the other its about a game in 2015 that had a MULTI millions of dollars for development or more, not even including the BASICS. Yes, its 2015 so they can do BOTH.

Its about a game in 2015 with a EIGHT YEAR DEVELOPMENT that cant even include

FULL KEY MAPPING

HIGH RES WIDESCREENS

NVIDIA SLI

ETC

While I'm with you in general, SLI is NVIDIA's responsibility, not Bethesda's.

But yeah, the keymapping bug hanging around ever since Fallout 3 is just unbelievable.

A once great cRPG has mutated into an RPG-lite and again into a half-assed FPS. Computers? Who needs 'em!

Reality Distortion Field in effect. Do you have an iPhone? Heh-heh.

Fallout 4 is not ONLY an FPS, to be sure, but it certainly is one. Saying otherwise is just delusional.

Ok, OP says he's on a high end PC?

There's absolutely no need to use arrow keys unless you're so uncoordinated and worry about hitting other keys.

And using the number pad? Not needed when multi button mice is a must have gaming item to these days.

I've been using WASD and a Razor Naga for years, works like a charm. I used to use arrow keys but realized waste of time. WASD is more efficient with mouse in rh and I'm lefty...People need to adapt really. Or just use a 3rd party utility.

Who would have thought this thread would devolved into a Platform War Flame Fest?

Closed because folks can't discuss the issue at hand, which remapping keys on the PC, calmly and rationally.
