GamersHub preview from the Gamecom demo

Not everyone has a $3000 PC that can handle the latest games, in fact most people don't.

Not trying to sound like a snob, but I'm pretty sure you can build a decent modern PC on a $900~1000 budget.

All you really need to know is what electronics to get and from where. The rest is just knowing how to put them all together into one amazing machine.

Unless you are buying laptops, never buy a desktop computer. What you are paying for is simply a cool-looking casing and a logo of your choice. You can simply find much better and cheaper options yourself.

And the people who don't somehow think that you pay the same price for a gaming PC as you do for one that you use to develop games or make movie special effects. $1000 will get you a high-end PC that you won't have to upgrade for years if you want to play games at the max settings. For $600 you can have a decent one that will keep up for a good while. But really, the point is that even typical mid-range users have hardware that beats the crap out of a 360 nowadays. Developers restricting themselves to what a 5 year old piece of hardware can handle means that the crazy people who have $1200 super high-end PCs don't have many games that actually use their full potential.

Please, no console bashing. It only ends in fire.

Was that article anything more than a re hash of old news. The lightning axe may be cool, or it could be the reporter misreporting.

If it wasn't on 360 we'd have tessellation and open cities, most likely, because it would be developed for PC and not ported to it. I'd prefer it be the other way around and that they simply cut features that the 360 can't handle due to hardware limitations, but that'd be extra work for them, so they won't do that. That's why people are bad-mouthing the 360. Current-gen consoles are holding back the industry.

Heh, that's a good one.

Skyrim wouldn't have half the budget it does if it weren't for consoles. Hell, look at all the PC pirating. You think that may be apart of the reason why consoles are preferred as lead platform?

Sure I'd love it if the lead platform was the PC and consoles got screwed, but it isn't. Deal with it appropriately. By which I mean not spouting nonsense.

That has the potential to be made of pure awesome. I never liked it in previous games where summoning weapons just popped a Daedric whatever into your hand...where's the fun if you already have full Daedric gear? It always felt sort of tacked on, like the developers didn't really know what to do with it so they just slapped in the game's top-tier weapon
