Ok so I am amazed but apparently i'm the only one with this issue, I cant seem to find anywhere else where people have said they had this problem but.

I've been playing fallout New Vegas for give or take a year now, I love it, I'm addicted to it like Mentats, I am replaying it with a new char, and I got to the boomer base, I started the ant misbehavin quest, and everything was gravy from the start.

But as soon as I walked into the engine room, I go down the stairs and everything is fine. But literally the second i set foot into the next room the game crashes? If i don't go down the stairs and try to jump over where the rail is broken, same thing it crashes on me for no reason, gives me absolutely no error message except for Fallout: NV has stopped working.

I have no idea why its crashing on me, but its every single time i hit this exact same spot. I know the boomers engine room isnt a necisary quest. but i really want to get on the boomers good side, and more so i wanna do this quest.

I use windows 7 and my laptop is a Alienware Mx11 please help Asap

You mean the generator room? Have you tried the other entrance over by the fenced in area. That takes you directly to the bottom floor.
