Anyway, for those interested, Origin has the Mass Effect trilogy for on sale for $14.99. Thought I'd share if anyone was looking for the series

The sale begins when Steam does it daily update, which here in GMT+2 land is about nine in the evening.

So in 3 hours, from what I've been reading the sale starts. I'm ready and hoping that I get the games I want on sale! Of course I just had to get sick today!

nope, sales prices should be the same throughout the entire sale (although the ones listed on the front page will change each day, but the discounts won't.. if game you want isn't on the front page, go to its individual store page to see the discount)..



they stopped doing the whole "daily deals" and "flash sales" when they instituted that refund policy awhile back (for somewhat obvious reasons), which is a bummer.. I enjoyed the flash sales and daily deals more than i do the refund system..

Phew, thank goodness there's nothing there that I really want. I'm broke enough right now as it is.

More that none of the games that I'm interested in are at a price that seriously tempts me. Those sale prices don't seem anything special either - I bought Alice Madness Returns from Origin this week, and The Elder Scrolls Online from Amazon, both much cheaper.

The one game I'd love to buy right now is Mirror's Edge Catalyst - but will have to wait until the price drops considerably.

Pretty much this. It's not that good of a sale imo.

I have to say, this new Authenitcator system makes selling cards feel like a full rectal exam.

Yeah the sale isn't too exciting. I picked up Kerbal Space Program but that's about it. Some good deals on the Assassin's Creed franchise is anybody out there hasn't played them yet, though. Nothing else is really jumping out at me.

It really svcks to have pretty much every game I want on steam already, these sales aren't as exciting as they used to be. I would like to get rise of the Tomb Raider but that [censored] never goes down far enough. FFS Doom costs less and it JUST came out.

I got Dark Souls 3, Alpha Protocol, Cities Skylines and Cities in Motion 2. Still on the fence about Shadow of Mordor, Amalur: Reckoning and Deus Ex The Fall.

I'm thinking about getting the first Deus Ex. Is it good / aged well? I was thinking about getting Deusix HR Directors Cut but I've already beat it recently so I don't think the DLC and graphics are worth it.

Any good sailing/pirate game on sale? I miss playing a good pirate game, I've played AC Black Flag, AC Rogue, Risen 2... but I want something more like the original Pirates Of Caribean by Akella, to mix real sailing with trading, exploration, naval combat....

Pirates of the Burning Sea? It is an MMO though.

Graphics are definitely from its time period, but I'd say the gameplay stands out enough that it's worth your time regardless. The money involved barely rates a mention .
