Which game do you think has the best special edition.
I have two which i think are the best;
Bioshock 2 collectors edition, It comes with a vinyl, So it has to be awesome.

And
Assassins creed codex edition, It just looks quite cool, and it's a top game.

Starcraft 2 had a good one, also the Bioshock 2 CE is pretty sweet.

No games really come to mind, but http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/9/2009/12/lightning.jpg is possibly the best collector's edition console I've seen. It's so pretty, but I can't justify $900 to import it. Shame it wasn't release in North America.

Used to really appreciate the well done collector's editions of games. Rarely go for them now that I mostly gamefly. I still hold my Legendary edition of Halo 3 close to my heart. While I would never put out that kind of cash for a game myself, my two aunts got together and felt that it would be a great birthday gift, they were right. The helmet serves no use to me, I really enjoyed all the extra bonus materials that the package came with. The Fallout 3 collector's edition was pretty cool too.

I really loved Halo Reach's Legendary Edition. The statue that came with it just reeks awesomeness, and I loved the journal that came with it as well.

Fallout 3, never had many games that were CE.

The Witcher 2. The first collector's edition that I've decided is worth buying.

Teh Witcher II also comes with a tasteless bust. I'm quite excited by the upcoming torrent of games tat headed in my direction! I've no idea what I'm going to do with it, but that's not the point.

Collector's editions do seem to mostly be getting better (with the odd exception, such as a dishonourable mention for the Dragon Age II Signature Edition, one of the worst special editions I've ever seen), some notable examples being Bioshock 2, Fallout NV and Two Worlds II. This is definitely a good thing since I'm such an avid collector of whatever rubbish, tat and crap they care to stuff in there!

Some awesome CEs that I have are Halo 3 and Reach. Both have some noteworthy display items (Helmet for 3 and Statue for Reach), and Reach had an interesting piece of canon as well. Dead Rising 2's was pretty good as well; it had a hilarious film, a working bandaid, steelbook, and pen.

Only CE I ever bought was Oblivion's and it was very nice. A collectable Septim and a book full of Tamrielic lore. Hell, I'd rather have books packed with lore and other information than objects I can do nothing with.

Final Fantasy usually has some pretty sweet collectors editions, along with TES. The legendary edition of Halo 3 was pretty awesome, but it was over produced and lost a lot of value, you can now get it at Gamestop for $70 when it was originally $120.

I heard they had a problem with them leaking silicone.
