Dogz 2 for the WIi.
Bought it over Christmas for the kids. It had cute dogs that you can customize, and then play games with it. It came with about 0 directions, and it turned out to be a kind of RPG. perfect for a 4 or 6 year old  After that experience, we won't buy any games without somehow testing them first. Edit: well now that I think abou tit, it wasn't full price, but in the cut-out bin on sale.
what's on the horizon? Erm, nothing? Maybe a dance game because it gets the kids sweaty (I don't like them being sedate while playing video games). This probably won't be full price either considerring how "current" we are with games LOL
NOthing spectacular
I really like the Kinect for that purpose. The developers of that gets big time props. It gets people moving. More importantly it promotes getting kids moving and being active. I haven't tried it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6znM4q04Ms.

I havent tried it, but if it gives you points based on how well you move and coordinate yourself, getting those points is motivation to get/keep active/more fit.
Dance Dance Revolution is really good, you gotta be able to move to play that game on the high difficulties. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzIpINXAdnQ&feature=related, mabey that might be something you wanna look into?
I'm looking for one to get, I want the pad and game combo, actually want to get 2 pads, for those video game parties/get togethers. I want it to 1) add to my library/collection 2) learn to play to I can compete with people
