SimCopter, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia 3D, Flying Corpse Gold and Arsenal are all gems of my childhood, I have fond memories of all those games. I actually tried replaying PoP3D again only a few months ago, but it was too difficult. :(

POKEMON

- As a child I watched my dad in his gaming days play all sorts (over 200 PS1 games and 100 PS2 :bonk: ) I can remember some like Resident Evil, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exhumed_%28video_game%29, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Hard_Trilogy, Tomb Raider, Space Invaders, Defender, Fade to Black, Dino Crisis and many more but I can't remember.

-- Sonic 1, 2 and Knuckles, Ecoo the Dolphin, Batman Forever and Road rash for the Sega Mega Drive
-- Pokemon Stadium 1, WWE Smackdown, South Park Quiz show, Pokemon snap, some others for the N64
Ha I played all those games your dad played when i was a kid except for defender, they were awesome!(except fade to black) but I played pokemon and sonic ect too! I have played pretty much everything worth playing, nothing left :( except the ultimate challenge- system shock 1 with the difficulty settings high! oh and i gotta try that might and magic 7.

Space Invaders, Moon Lander, Frogger, Defender, Fort Apocalypse, some truly bizarre Commodore Pet games where the zombies were filled in green 'O's, and you had to get them to fall into the pits, normal green 'O's, and another one with balloons you had to hit the aliens with, whereupon the stick man with the balloons would shout 'Banzai!', and 'Mugyu!'.
Then I hit advlthood, and games became all sophisticated and shinily graphic, with jaw-dropping stuff like Gauntlet.

Anyway I would do a list of all the games I played during childhood but the wall of text would be an eye-sore.

Let's just say Pong came out when I was in high school.
I was grown, married, and had my first child. And I thought Pong was amazing, but we couldn't afford it.

In no particular order:

Sonic 1, 2, 3&K
Vectorman
Spyro the Dragon
Crash Bandicoot
Goldeneye
Star Fox
Rogue Squadron
Brave Fencer Musashi (A pretty obscure one, 10 points to anyone here who's heard of it)

Damn, this board has me feeling nostalgic again.

I was watching the Doublefine Adventure project videos, and remembered how much I played Gilbert's Freddi Fish and Putt-Putt games when I was a kid.

Also Commander Keen, Captain Comic, The Incredible Machine (For some reason I'd always try to torture the cat in every way imaginable) and later Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

I also remember playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZDG4dlU5uY. Looks like I played that about 13-15 years after it came out (I'm from 1991). I had no idea, I wasn't concerned about graphics.

Later there was HoMM 2 and 3, I played a lot of 3 with my brother.

And of course, Golden Sun on the GBA! I remember waiting for the sequel when I finished the first.

It's funny how early on my parents introduced me to all sorts of games, my parents aren't gamers themselves at all.

Edit: And the first Prince of Persia on DOS! I remember killing the final boss with my eyes closed on later playthroughs. I can go on with this forever.

Pac-Man
Centipede
Yars' Revenge
Donkey Kong
Parsec
Defender
Super Mario Bros. series
MegaMan 2 thru 5
Castlevania 2 & 3
Battletoads
Blaster Master
Werewolf: The Last Warrior
Super Mario Kart
EarthBound (which is what got me into RPG's)
Scorched Earth

Also FYI, the very first game console I owned happened to be an Atari 5200; I did get an NES a few years later...

Hehe, we played that in school on good ol' floppy discs run via DOS. And Oregon Trail!
