Games you played in your childhood

Oh yeah, Stratego! That was fun.
I had a Stretch Armstrong doll once too. And Star Trek:OS action figures. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty & Sulu had many a phaser battle in my parents living room.

I was a playmobil kinda kid... had some real adventures with the little buggers.

Ah, to be young again...

I had something like playmobil...little folding houses with round-headed plastic people that had no legs. You just fit them in holes in chairs like pegs. I can't remember the brand name now. edit: maybe it was mobil or playskool & in the past they had no legs, unlike now...

My most favourite thing to do was playing Lego, especially with my brother.

Did you have the yellow school bus those little people went in? I had the bus, a farm and a house. They were fun to play with but could not compare to my Weeble circus. I'd play with it now if I still had it *shoots weeble out of a cannon*

I still have boxes and boxes of Lego somewhere and I am now very tempted to pull them out again.

No, didn't have the bus....*long Google search* ... Fisher-Price, that was it. http://www.etsy.com/listing/37801924/sale-60s-vintage-fisher-price-wooden and http://www.museumofplay.org/blog/play-stuff/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/LittlePeople-300x259.jpg:D

And yes, vintage Lego's were awesome! Tinker Toys too. Ah, memories.

The Incredible Machine (For some reason I'd always try to torture the cat in every way imaginable) and later Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

I liked to make space ships with rocket bays and set up buildings and stuff and watch them shoot at it.

Duke Nukem 3D

Tomb Raider 2
Ecco the Dolphin

... and a bunch of cheap 2D platformers and "educational games" I don't care to list here

The first that comes to mind is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Slayer, my first FPS about 30 years ago!

Other than that, I'm struggling to remember. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_Set_Willy, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuckie_Egg, Danger Ranger, one of the numerous Donkey Kong clones whose name I forget, Pacman, some nameless text adventure I wish I could remember...

Weeble? As in Weebles wobble but they don't fall down? I used to love them, and Stretch Armstrong, and my Star Wars action figures, and Rock em Sock em Robots... Boy if only I had the good sense back then not to destroy my toys.

Dear God that game is Cheap

I don't mean monetarily either, I mean in classic 90's early 2000s kill you for no good reason cheap.
the number of impossible circumstances that game puts you in is astounding O.o, how I had the patience for it at 10 I will never know because I sure don't now. :P

Ha! I don't remember the MSX. I went from, sticks and stones in the dirt, to the TRS 80, to the Com 64, to the Atari, to the Atari 2600, to the Nintendo.

After the MSX i had a MSX2... Metal Gear Solid 1987 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF-2jQ_2-Fc
