I have updated the original post again to include the recent suggestions and bug reports, specifically the connection resetting, rank system ideas, thread starter moderation idea, and the botched Crysis Wars 1.5 RAW download. I also moved the Avatars and Signatures idea into the resolved area since the updates on them.

Does anybody know if the login hang and email notification has been fixed yet? I personally have not had issues with the login hang any longer but I would like some confirmation of that before I change it to a resolved issue.

Well, it has been happening to me multiple times... Highly annoying when you have half a page story you are trying to post and it just disappears in an error. >:(

Have not been noticing anything like that with mine. It could be a lack of updates to your browsers or just a server bug. Just theoretically speaking.

After todays update/change of the site the load time is much longer than before.
Also acces whit the ps3 browser is very slow, it took minutes to open the forums.

I tried to open help and support and everything was compressed and a lot of menus where overlapping each other.

Good luck whit the new layout, keep it up.

Hot topics box on /forums/ has borked links. Mouseover one and it displays "{L_POSTED}: {topicrow.FIRST_POST_TIME}". Presumably that's meant to be SQL data instead.

can i suggest changing the color of the quick reply window, cause the whole site is darkish and then the quick reply window is 100% white and it makes too much of a contrast

I tried posting at the feedback section but got not answer so i'm going to post it here..
Ok... in the "Edit Profile" we can find the "Your Setup" option and I typed in some hardware information about my PC but I wish to delete some of it.

I've checked the boxes to delete them and then saved the settings but they are still there...
Can someone fix that or help me out please?

This is a login problem that i have seen a few pplz post, where i am having to use the once only sign in affair, lol.
you know i was in here from first week and i didnt change a thing on my stats, apart from the high post count, but I cant help that lol.

here is my problem, i cannot login, my p/word is incorrect, (it says ), after many attempts i then hit forgotten p/word, then go to email and follow link, so i can reset my password,
But this can only be done if I can confirm my old p/word that isnt even recognised in the first instance,
can you please look into it for us ?

suggest send a temp p/word that can be used instead of confirm previouse p/word, to confirm change maybe, just a thought.
reckon it will soon be sorted anyway but just incase?

Dunno if it's just my computer, but the Crysis Wars Patch 1.5 download hangs at around 150 MB.

(The download stops after 150MB is downloaded)

Using Google Chorme if that could of caused the problem.

I'm slightly worried that you can't see them yourself...

The worst example is:
Do not create threads or contributions, which content hi-jacks or maliciously affects users computers.
To a non-English speaker, this is pretty much incomprehensible (and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to a native English speaker either).
First, "which content" is nonsense, replace it with "that" and make all the verbs singular.
Second, "hi-jacks" doesn't have a hyphen.
Third, the rules are full of apostrophe abuse: "PM's" should be "PMs", because you're not talking about something belonging to a PM, you're talking about multiples of a PM. "users computers" should be "users' computers", because you're talking about computers belonging to a user. Same for "moderators discretion".
And finally, "whilst" comes across as needlessly verbose and pretentious, not to mention further confusing non-English users.

What exactly's wrong with using the Crymod Avatar/Sig rules and the Crymod Forum Rules? Those cover everything the gamesas rules cover, and more stuff besides. Copypasting them here would be easier than rewriting the gamesas ones to make sense.

Thanks for taking the time to put that together. You are correct in suggesting that it'd be better if it was 100% grammatically correct as some parts may come across confusing to non-english speakers, though we've not had any mention of this as of yet. I'm sure most can decipher the mystery behind "hi-jacks", as opposed to "hijacks".

Big issue I am having:

- Posting pictures are cutting off the edges of both the picture and the text of the whole thread by a lot along the right hand side. One picture can essentially make a whole thread useless.

-Somehow i can be not logged in to the main website http://www.gamesas.com as it won't store my cookies, but the section http://www.gamesas.com/forums will keep me logged in. I can seriously go from the main website logged out into the forums and get magically logged in without doing anything. Not sure if that is intended or not.

-Responding to private messages while on a mobile platform is a nuisance. Not sure if it is flash based or what, but I cannot respond to a PM directly, instead I have to click on their username, go to send them a message, rewrite the title and then I can go into and write the contents.

-the front page has a little bit more flash than I would like. On mobile platform the front page of the website gets horribly broken and fragmented because of this.

-when writing long posts, the scrollbar tends to get jumpy and shoot up and down each time you type a letter, making it practically impossible to check for gramatical errors without posting first.

What browser are you using regarding being logged out of the portal?

For mobile platform use, this isn't really at the highest priority at the moment, so any functionality problems related to browsing on your phone are unfortunately going to need to go on the back burner for now.
