gamesas Update - 19/11/2010

Post » Fri Feb 13, 2009 10:01 am

Hiya Crysis fans!

We've made some updates to both the gamesas portal and the forums. You can find a list of the changes below:

  • Interactive Nanosuit 2 application on the main page (very cool, check it out!)
  • Image gallery updates (you can now view large resolution images).
  • Added quick-reply to forums.
  • A new Support section with general Crysis 2 FAQ.
  • Added a link to Crynet systems via the evacuation poster.
  • A few general bug fixes.
  • Added Crysis 2 themed avatars

If any of these changes aren't working for you, try clearing your browser cache and try again. As always, this is an ongoing process and it's just a small taste of things to come. We hope you enjoy these updates and we look forward to bringing more to you soon!

Cheers,
gamesas Team.

Here's an example of a gallery image that has a larger option: http://www.gamesas.com/gallery/screenshot/ambush-tactical-overview

Just click on "View Larger" in the bottom right hand corner of the pic and it will load a higher resolution version of the image. Not all images are completed yet so please check back soon to see if it's available on your favourite image :)

Nice, higher res pics is what I've been waiting for, thx! :)

If the global infection stuff would be more detailed like having it possible to zoom into areas worldwide the site would be even more cool! :)
Maybe show usernames based on areas as well to be able to get in touch with them?! :)

It would be awesome to zoom in on the map areas but realistically thats a huge amount of work and would take a long time to implement :(

interesting, you have a couple of people near Frankfurt and one near where i used to live :)

the main problem here is we're using a custom solution we created, so it would need to be developed internally. Definitely something we can consider but perhaps for further in the future.

Great update!

Unfortunately I havent been on here in a while, the Crysis 2 release hype is getting quite stale for me, waiting for beta news!

I'll stop back in once in a while to see whats new;
