Gamescon leaked footage

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 2:01 am

This thread is for this discussion of the leaked footage that was posted from gamescon, I didnt see a prior thread posted about this.
I looked through the rules to make sure I didnt break any by posting this thread and I don't believe I did.
However, if I did break a rule feel free to lock the thread.

Did anyone notice anything that we did not already know?

If you have not seen it you can find it simply by searching for it on google.

Edit: meant gamescom

From the "Important Forum Info" thread...

"...Moderators: Posting links to any leaked material will result in a warning and posting suspension..."

While its not posting links... It might be bad juju to discuss it. I wouldn't really make mention of anything you see or hear until it is officially revealed, and take any reviews you read with a grain of salt.

Good to hear. I was hoping Bethesda would be less prudish this time round.

The old thread was locked without anyone linking to the vid(tad ott really, talk about thought police), anyways the info I gleaned from it was loading times between cells were vvvery quick, lockpicking and hacking were virtually the same as fo3 and fonv and some old textures have been reused.

Well duh, its the pipe rifle, the home built gun shaped pile of junk of a early game gun, ya really think that thing would have a good iron sight?

I'd just expect it to be better than looking through a donut.

Load time is probably quick because they run it on the beastest Beth machine known to man. The rest of us will suffer Skyrim load times =/

*shrugs* well the good thing with the modding system is that you can just take the gun to a bench and give it a sight you might like more.

Two things for me

1. Laser rifle with holo-sight was cool as :fallout:

2. The new protectron laser effects and visuals where also cool

Since Im quite sure they are still showing off the console versions, I would expect them to run it on console grade hardware so that its a accurate representation of those.

Yeah, it's a pretty rough scope. http://imgur.com/KsRYv3Y a pipe mounted on top of the rifle with one screw on each side forming the crosshair. Like Remmus stated it's a very early start gun that, during the E3 presentation, was in thehttp://imgur.com/qkQsYQQ before you even leave the vault.

The footage that was actually visible was interesting. I liked the combat and the ghoul battles seem to be challenging if there's a lot that just swarm you like that. Bummed that they didn't take the opportunity to revamp the lockpicking/hacking screens however.

True, I remember when playing FO:NV for the first time, going into the strip I could literally go off and make a cup of tea in the time it would take to load, sometimes it wouldn't load at all.
