Gamespy Article

Post » Mon Oct 25, 2010 8:37 am

Just found this online, dunno if anyone has seen it yet.
http://ps3.gamespy.com/playstation-3/elder-scrolls-v/1143299p1.html

Dual wielding, perks, finishing moves... I'd be interested to see how they are implemented. Still reading the article.

And after finishing reading it, Sounds like Skyrim will be interesting. More character customization in the way of body type editing, facial editing, and BEARDS! It IS set 200 years in the future (hearkening back to the Updated Map thread, I agree. Give us an updated map before release, please!) Custom quest type generation based on play style. I'm liking it so far. I'm only worried that "finishing moves" and dual wielding will border on silly.

Hmm I know we can't link to the actual GI article but is linking to one that basically plagiarizes it and then throws "GI says" at the front of it acceptable?

Yes, it's based on the GI article.

Yeah so is knowledge on how to use the search function. Unfortunately we only give links to other threads to people who have said knowledge, kind of a catch 22.

Just skimmed the opening of the article but I hate that they've included such a knee jerk reaction to the confirmation of limited level scaling in there.

Gotta love the spread of misinformation. Going to love the "oh noes bethesda plz dont do more scaling because after new vegas was sooo buggy if you do this i wont buy any of your games ever again" threads.

Yeah, I'm not going to listen to any information on level scaling until Bethesda releases something comprehensive. As long as rats aren't difficult at higher levels, I'll be happy.

We have a map. Check out the behind the scenes video at the gi hub or the map discussion thread here at the forums.

I agree with ya guys 110% i cant stand gamespy or ign anyway, half there reviewers give misinfo or they have to share there all wise and knowing info on what makes or breaks a game but hey they'll give Halo reach or fable3 a 9.0 .
