TL:DR - Xbox 720 will most likely play used games, why else would the CEO of Gamestop pimp this new system out? If Sony doesn't reverse their position on "watermarking" games for the PS4 (thus making used games worthless for that system), then I can easily see Microsoft winning this next gen of console wars.

Honestly it would be stupid for Microsoft to not allow you to play the game you bought on a friend's console.

It would be nice to play a game on my console after 6 or more years.

Might want this thread in the Community Discussion forum. And I never believed rumors of the PS4 and Xbox 720 not playing used games anyway.
