Why do people support gamestop still?

Just go to Best Buy.

It's cheaper, you don't need a pre-order, and the staff is much nicer.

My wife and I will both be waiting in line for the mid-night release. I'm hoping I can time it as well as I did with Halo 3. I made it to Gamestop just as the line started to move and waited a total of maybe 20 minutes before getting my game and going home. However long I have to wait though will be worth it. and I don't have to go back to work for four days, so I'll get plenty of time with it.

aafes does not like it when gamestop does them because they have to keep the PX open. They are only allowing it for the BF3 and CoD releases. (Which svcks as I am not getting either)

The Gamestop/AAFES in Hawaii was big into midnight releases, I got MWBO and Cata from them

You can honestly say that the staff of every Best Buy is nicer than the staff at every Gamestop? Doubtful. My gamestop is awesome. The people there like love me, they've even given me their employee discounts before. And free stoofs.

Anyway, if they aren't doing anything special like letting people play it a bit or something I'll probably sit in line with my girlfriend and play my DS all day. I plan on getting there uber early to hopefully be the first person there. Probably around 5pm or so. I'll have energy drinks and will probably order a pizza for while I wait. Then when I get home, I'll play the game with the volume like all the way up for roughly 10 days straight before I go get a snack and then play some more.

The guys and girls at my gamestop are damn cool. Best buy isn't open till midnight in jersey and how are they cheaper. The games gonna be 60 plus tax everywhere in the country.

My personal event plan is to pick it up at midnight from Gamestop. Go home and get hopped up on Red Bulls and play till past sunrise.......Hmmmmm not sure what kind of munchies I'll have. Taco Bell is open after 12 AM so I might pick up a few tacos....... :nuke:

This may be a brand new concept for you, but not everyone actually has a Walmart anywhere near them. The closest Walmart to me is 20 miles away. I'm not going that far for anything.

Worst idea ever. Walmart is the worst thing to happen to this country since the cast of jersey shore was born. There used to be small buisnesses in the united states until these corporate bastards opened.

I work at the gamestop where i live. we are going to hook up some consoles and let people play around on skyrim provided that corporate approves it. Although seeing how they are letting us do something similar with MW3 i do not see us having any issues

I don't deal with Gamestop. Any of my gaming needs will be fulfilled by Best Buy or online from places like Amazon or Newegg.
