Gamestop Price's For Brink.

Post » Fri May 20, 2011 6:15 pm

Gamestop

Xbox 360

New - $59.99 US dollars. Still

Used Online/Used Store - $49.99/$54.99 US dollars. Already LOL

Trade in value - $23.00 US dollars in store credit. WTF

Pointless to sell Brink. Mys well wait for them to fix the damn thing.

(I'm not complaining. Brink has POTENTIAL. I'm just telling everyone)

$59.99 cost of a new game for weeks to months of its release.

$49.99 is $5 off the cost of a used game that recently released, often $54.99.

$23 trade in store credit is $2 less than the cost of a newly released game which without promotions is often $25 trade in credit.

So in concerns to your "Already LOL" and "WTF" you can have the price of 54.99 used, and get only $5 when you trade it in.

It's not even that bad of a game, it has it's issues but it's nothing like Homefront. It's not like they wanted it to svck, like the Dev's of Homefront knew it was gonna flop, they just over hyped it to hell to make quick money then they're not gonna do anything. Splash Damage is actually patching the game AND releasing free DLC. What more could you ask for?

Obviously the used game will cost less.
And somehow I feel like stores wont re-buy games for the full price either, but I'm sure you can find a better price if you're looking for one.

I'm playing on PS3 and keeping it.

The trade-in value will not be BRINK's specific multiplayer design so it'll never be worth it.

If you http://www.goozex.com/referral.asp?idr=6131578395751, you get http://www.goozex.com/trading/games/75646-Brink-Xbox_360.

The site is based on trading used games. There are 173 active requests for Brink on 360 and 92 on PS3. There are PLENTY of ways to get good trade-in value for Brink. I'm tempted to put my copy on there then get a copy on Steam!

That's a funny way to spell Heavy Rain.

Did Heavy Rain have free roam? Did Heavy Rain have GTA style shooting? Did Heavy Rain have realistic faces? I think I made my point.

You must be pretty lazy to sell at Gamestop. I just sold my copy for $32 on Amazon and in the same day I also sold Killzone 2 for $12. $44 bucks in total right there to put towards a new game. You lose.

You do realize L.A. Noire wasn't actually made by Rockstar though right? Let's be honest here, GTA 4, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, and even Mafia 2 are all the same game. Only 2 of those are actually cool open world type games. While I don't doubt that L.A. Noire will be a good playthrough at least once (and I do plan on picking it up sooner or later), I certainly can't wait to see how many people complain about it's redundancy ..it's only so many times you can solve the same crimes, and actually you can pull up the cases online and find out who the killers were to help speed up the process in the game lol. Anywho, great gaming to you sir.

Not bad. Never did try Amazon for selling anything.

Personally I prefer selling back to Gamestop, I like the interaction with the employee's there whom I've become friends with.

I was on the verge of selling Brink... but now I'll wait for the DLC I think before I make up my mind. Freeplay is fun but I have a lot of other games on my plate to be played ><

I hate it when people complain about trade-in prices at Gamestop.

Be glad that they are taking the burden off of your shoulders for not researching about a game. Hell, they don't have to give you good money for that game. If you don't like the game so much, why buy it in the first place?

It's an online-only discount (used sales price).
