My Pc is four years old and iam still able to play most games at a good setting.
Okay, not seeing how this is killing PC gaming.
As long as there is no new console generation comin out, every new pc over 800€ is wasted money.
Not actually true... but that aside, still not seeing how PC
hardware being wasted money would mean anything for PC
gaming.
There is nearly no invention in graphics or physics over the last 3 years. Just look at Crysis still beeing among the 5 topgames graphic/physicwise and its nearly four years old.
No in
novation in physics is... pretty flatly wrong. No in
novation in graphics maybe (on a purely "nothing looks as nice as Crysis" basis and ignoring things like hardware tessellation), but not seeing how graphics and physics not in
novating has anything to do with
the entirety of PC gaming being officially dead.
The pc just lost the game selling war against consoles, only rts and mmorpg are still profitable for the pc
Once again completely incorrect, but you've got a bit of a running start here.
and therefore a high-end pc to play games with graphics a 4 year old pc could handle are such a waste of money.
So from what I can understand... you're ranting because modern PC games are usually well-optimized enough to run with decent settings on a broad range of hardware. And this is not helping or improving PC gaming but is in fact
killing it?
