I am pretty much update-to-date on everything Skyrim. I might have missed it but will i be able to bash people with a staff in one hand and a sword in the other? I know theres dual wielding and you can have a staff and sword but I was wondering if you can actually use the staff for melee?
I haven't heard of a staff being used as melee, i know you can do the sword/staff or staff/staff combo, but don't know if you can bash them, unless there is a melee staff, which i don't think has been announced.
Gandalf style combat, you mean dying and returning as a somewhat paler version of yourself?
lol yes!

:sadvaultboy: aww...Would be cool if it was a perk or something...Im sure it will be easier to mod in than it was for oblivion. UV3!
Wait, so the OP wants to shine bright lights at enemies throughout various points of the series? Because that's practically all Gandalf did, in the movies. He was basically a glorified flashlight.

No, the OP wants to know how viable a sword/staff combination is.
Shame really, I was hoping I could use my staff for melee as well magic. Also, couple it with the "Fus Ro Dah" force push Shout and you can totally roleplay a section where he screams "You shall not pass!" Aah the epic journey it would be to be Gandalf the Grey/White.
I wonder, if you're dual wielding staff/sword and you aren't actively holding your weapons, does your staff go on your back? I hope that's not the case, i want to just continue holding it in my hand, like Gandalf.
