Gannon Family Armor is now SOMEWHERE in the wasteland...

Hello

I'm new to this forum, so I don't know if this topic is placed on the good 'page'.
I'm just going to tell my story:

I've completed the quest 'For Auld Lang Syne', and have thus received the Remnants and the Gannon Family armor.
I'm doing the quest 'Return To Sender' (not important, the problem might have found place before I did the quest)
and when I'm somewhere in the wasteland, I get raided by Legion Assassins :swear: . One of them throws a pulse grenade :flamed: , whereafter I see that my Remnants Armor is 'being electrocuted' (Sorry, I'm Belgian). Then, I put on the Gannon Family armor, and it stopped...So for a moment, I thought that the Gannon Family armor was stronger.
Because I didn't repair the Gannon Family armor, it's DT/DR (?) was lower than the Remnants Armor (By the way: from now on, I'm just calling the Gannon Family Armor GFA, and the Remnants Armor RA. [tired of writing]). So, in all stupidness, I threw away my Gannon armor SOMEWHERE IN THE WHOLE MOJAVE WASTELAND  and now I want it back...Now, I know it's not very easy to find it...But, first of all, I'd like to know: when you drop an armor wherever you are, will it stay there as long as you live? (Forever?).
BUT: That was only one possibility what could have happened to the armor...
The possibilities:

-I picked up (or bought) a gun I loved, and I was overencumbered, whereafter I dropped the GFA.
-The story above

Now, as I said before, it's unpossible to search for the whole wasteland, so I could give you the quests I completed after For Auld Lang Syne (because I might have dropped it at a quest related location):
-Restoring Hope
-Three-Card Bounty (have checked the Fiends Territory, no armor though)
-I Don't Hurt Anymore (not possible, because I already eliminated Cook-Cook in 3-Card Bounty
-Return to Sender (could probably have happened during this quest, read environment description below)
-You Can Depend on Me
-Pressing Matters

I'm 200 % sure that I didn't have it after Pressing Matters, but also, I lost it before that quest...

Here is a description of the environment where I might have lost the armor:
You're standing in front of a road (or rails, don't remember), and you see the road itself as: running down from the middle left of your TV screen to the down right angle of your TV. At the other side, Legion Assassins ambush you. To the behind and to the right (seen from the player's position), there are mountains.
It's possible that the ground was red (not Red Rock Canyon).
It might also look like the roads around Ranger Station Charlie, and the roads around Bonnie Springs.

Now, you guys can't help me...I know...Unless...?
Well, eeh...
I could upload my PS3 (!!!) save of Fallout New Vegas to an upload site, send the link, and a brave person might look for the armor...
I know, it sounds...lazy of me, but I've looked everywhere I remembered it could be...So...

If there's anyone...just anyone with a PS3, Fallout New Vegas, being bored of walking the wasteland, and wanting an 'unmarked quest' (given by me ofcourse), and who is really nice and brave spending his time on looking to the Gannon armor for someone else, rather than playing on Fallout New Vegas for own usage...Don't hesitate to comment or to contact me in private. Then, I will upload and send that person (or persons) the Fallout NV save file.
To be sure, please make sure the last patch is installed.

Thank you so much in advance!

Standfastly yours,

Michael Henrotte

Next time you should just put it into storage somewhere, such as the lucky 38.

It'll take less time to just restart the whole game.

Then how did you get the armor you have to talk to mr house, and do some of the quests before arcade gannon will open the quest. Once you talk to Mr. House you get the lucky 38 suite.

Nope, I did do nothing with Yes Man nor Mr.House...did the NCR quest, meet with Arcade, left him for some reason at the Great Khan camp, when I returned, he opened the quest (:

ummm....To even start the NCR's side to the main quest you need to talk to Mr. House and thus be comped the Lucky 38 Suite. What about Novac? Get that room long before you get near New Vegas.

There is no resetting containers anywhere in the game. Even a conveniently placed dumpster can be turned into a logistics base.

You would have had to have owned the "Presidential Suite" though. There's literally no way around it.
