This looks absolutely absurd. And ridiculous, ludicrous and preposterous.

I can't wait. :hehe:

Come on Beth, step it up. You've been beaten to hell now. Before your most iconic series fades into infinite doom, you have to release Quake!

Anyway, enough about that. This might turn out good.

Since I bought the Game of the Century edition does this mean I will get it for free when released? Also, nice to see the game is still supported even after a 'complete package' release.

I started to feel the same way once cars became so useless they made better flying debris than practical modes of transportation. It's still fun once you realize it's not a car driving sandbox anymore.

Hmm, I wonder if I would like Saint's Row 4..... I tried SR3 on a "free" Steam weekend, and it didn't do much for me - because I'm not a fan of driving games. Get rid of the driving, and it might be more interesting.

(Never played any of the GTA games either. The "playing a badguy/criminal" thing is also a big turn-off....)

Maybe! I loved running through the city at extreme speeds, jumping the height of huge buildings and flying through the city. It was crazy and does not take itself seriously! And I loved it.

Think of it like Dragon Ball Z. Your character can hop building to building, skyscraqer to skyscraqer, and blow away everything in his/her's path with sheer will alone.

Seriously? The superpowers thing was what made the game. Who doesn't want to be a super hero?

Even though I have yet to play it, I'm glad they separated the series from GTA as much as possible by including that. It would've been boring otherwise.

they had already separated it from GTA though, GTA was going hyper realistic, while SR had gone a more silly over the top direction (SR3 was Borderline Parody with slapstick, and thats what made it good)

if I wanted to play a Superhero, I would play one of the numerous Superhero games already out there.. I did not play SR for that kind of content, which is why it killed SR4 for me.. if i wanted that kind of content, there were already numerous titles out there for that type on content

..its like if Bethesdas next TES or Fallout game was an overhead view economic sim like roller coaster tycoon..

How is SR4 compared to 3? I didn't like 3 so much.

Even more Crazy. So less hardcoe Gang-banger simulator that you'll die laughing. Which is good as compared to GTA's Super-ultra-hardcoe wannabe life of crime simulator.

SR4 has you fighting aliens. With Super Powers.
