GATES TO AESGAARD - EPISODE ONE
=======================================
Author: KoukouStudios & Thepriest909
==========================

Version: 1.0
Date: 11/6/2007
Category: Quests and Adventures
REQUIREMENTS:
Oblivion Patch 1.2.0.214 (Official patch v1.2)

Homepage:http://www.freewebs.com/thepriest909/index.htm

DESCRIPTION
===========

An action horror quest plugin for Bethesda's "Elder Scolls IV - Oblivion".

The player will have to deal with an ancient twisted evil, well hidden in the ages,
through a journey in time and space and the hellish kingdom of the "Cursed Ones".
This project is going to be released in several episodes because of its large length.
Although every episode has its own unique ending.

FEATURES
========

1.Entirely new world
2.Quest system
3.New enemies
4.New Sound & Video Material
5.Five new unique books and several notes written by Margaret Farrell
6.Custom weapons and armors
7.A full cluttered house in Jerral Mountains

The Quest is estimated to take about 4 or more hours depending on style of play

SUGGESTIONS FOR THE MAXIMUM EXPERIENCE OF THIS QUEST
====================================================

1.I call this plugin a "War of Images".
I've spent hundreds of hours trying to create just the right atmosphere at each location of this project.
The lighting is 60% of the experience so.... It is recommended that you don't use "Nighteye Effects"!
The only result it can cause is to spoil the experience you would have without it.
You will find enough torches to pass through this quest.

2.Try to leave your companion at home this time.
Expect that a companion will be lost in the "Abyss" stage,
Either by attracting the immortal Abyss creatures or by falling to "Nowhere".

3.Do not use console cheat codes because they will probably break the quest line and cause failure to complete it.

Not forgotten at all.
It's amazing.

I haven't seen the Priest around very much lately though.
There was a conflict of sorts with a team member.

Would like to know how Episode 2 is coming along.

Hello everyone!
I'm still here :)

Episode Two is almost complete... I still have to fix a couple of "script" issues before a release though...
Alex Scorpion also worked on the project as a 3D & animation modeler... Thanks again Alex! Great work!
The website is currently unavailable... episode 2 site on the works....

What I really need is a FAQ or walk-through for this mod. I keep getting stuck in one part and I refuse to play it anymore until I can get answers to some questions. Getting my character trapped in there and then posting a question and waiting for x amount of time is not an option (because of mod development I'm doing).

The topic or post you requested does not exist

That is what I get trying to access the link you posted. I am a registered user.

Again, if there is a walk-through or FAQ for this, where is it and why can I not find it?

Feel free to email it. sulteric@charter.net for Christ's sake!

EPISODE TWO

The Good news:
Episode Two is 99% beta-ready... that means that a beta version will be out very soon for some of you.

The (almost) bad news:
I had to use an ESM file (master file) and that might cause a couple of load order issues for some of you with several other esm's inside your data folder...
(Something that can be easilly fixed by using OBMM)
There was no other way though... It's an 800Mb project (Uncompressed Data).

That's no bad news,
I'm guessing it's well worth it.

Also, I am assuming that allot of the items used in Episode 1 will return in episode 2.
How about merging those files into that ESM so that Epi 1 can be dependent on it as well and cut on duplicate data,
would that help?

That's a good idea but... I don't want to force the players to use both episodes, episode 2 does not require ep1 to be installed... and besides that, the most of the items used in ep1 have been re-designed... :) I 'll propably compress all the required data in a bsa archive to reduce the size of the whole project.

....Some people keep complaining about the time episode 2 required to be developed.. The same people have said that I wouldn't make it in time, one year before... Well... Here I am!
You have to understand that besides a few resourcies and some new models & textures, two very good friends made for me, I made everything else by my own hands in my home studio...
It took me a year to complete it but Episode Two is done...! Scheduled official release...? ...this month... December.........!........

I'm loving this mod! The quality is amazing and better than original content. But I am having a problem in the chamber after the lake. I can't think of what to do to make the door appear. Please pm a solution since walkthrough link is dead.
