Well don't werewolves and vampires have feelings and families just like the rest of the people? They have souls and emotions, too. They're just twisted and evil in form, so to speak.

So do we just post our characters? Well, here's mine:

Name: Cordus Leon
Gender: Male
Race: Imperial
Age: 23
Class: Bard

Birth Sign: The Steed

Combat Skills (Limit Seven - Includes all game skills):
Long blade
Short blade
Acrobatics and athletics (for these, thing of them being used like free-running in Assassin's Creed)
Light armor
Marksman
Security.
Non-Combat Skills (Limit Ten - Non-game skills):
Dodging, enhanced by the quick reflexes of those born under the sign of the Steed.
Smooth-talking women
Dual wielding
Excellent at playing the lute
Tends to be lucky in most things he attempts.

General Appearance: Cordus is relatively tall, standing at about a half-inch over 6 feet tall. Cordus is very strong and muscular, but also lithe and agile, possessing of defined but not bulging muscles across his body. He is considered very attractive by most, if not all, women who have met him, and even some men. He has longish blonde hair that just barely falls over his eyes, but far enough to have caused him to develop a habit of flicking his head to one side in order to keep it out of his face. He also has strikingly blue eyes, and abnormally straight and white teeth, which are nearly always shown in a perpetual smirk-like grin.

Weapons: Cordus wields a silver longsword (Carried on his left hip), a pair of matching silver dueling daggers (carried on the back of his belt), and an oak and steel crossbow (Carried on a back-strap with the handle over his right shoulder; he carries a quiver of 20 bolts on his right hip).

Armor: Cordus wears a set of expensive clothing, complete with a hood, over which he wears leather gauntlets, shoulder pieces, chest plate, and boots. For his trip to Skyrim, he has added a short fur cloak to his ensamble. Cordus also wears a family heirloom on his right ring finger: a ring that is said to improve his marksmanship, dexterity, and reflexes. In terms of overall appearance, think http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/279/d/2/ezio_auditore_by_zivra-d306qfv.jpg

Other Items: Pack contains:
- bedroll
- a book (The Lusty Argonian Maid)
- his prized lute (his "Fat Lute")
- spare food and water
- extra bolts for his crossbow
- lockpicking set
- coin-pouch currently containing 683 Septims.

Mental Condition: Cordus is stable mentally, and has a very laid back view on life. However, he is generally very full of himself, and he tends to think of himself as the Nine's gift to women. He usually plays up the part of a typical "dumb blond", but is actually fairly intelligent. Cordus is a great people-person and a natural comedian, and is usually able to become friends with most people he meets. However, the ones whom he can't make friends with tend to find him annoying, a fact that both saddens him, and that he can't understand.

Brief History:
Cordus grew up in Skingrad, the son of a minor noble there. He was trained in swordplay and marksmanship by his father, and used his free time to practice his acrobatic abilities across the city rooftops. However, his real passion lied in playing the lute. He was quickly noticed amongst the city for his great lute playing, and with this discovery came a growing sense of confidence, as well as ensuring him his pick of girls across the city. However, when he was 16, he and his father had an argument that resulted in him leaving Skingrad, taking with him his inheritance (his ring and a fairly large supply of gold). He used his lute-playing to set himself up as a traveling bard. Using the money from his inheritance and the money he got from barding, he bought himself weapon and armor and became a part-time adventurer. He became known as one of the best duelists and dungeon-crawlers in Cyrodiil, as wel as being one of the top bards. Now, 7 years later, after gaining and losing many fortunes, and accessing the hearts -and beds - of many women across Cyrodiil, he has heard of a new challenge in Skyrim. A massive dungeon, full of traps and baddies and riches, that could finally put his swordsmanship, trap evading skills, acrobatic abilities, and, most importantly, his luck to the test. And he figures, "Hey, maybe I'll meet some nice Nordic women along the way, too!"

Okay, here's my character.

Name: Sora Llatharyn
Gender: Female
Race: Dunmer
Age: 23

Birth Sign: The Steed

Combat Skills (Limit Seven - Includes all game skills): Blade, Light Armor, Destruction, Athletics.
Non-Combat Skills (Limit Ten - Non-game skills): Alchemy, Acrobatics, able to drink copious amounts of alcohol without falling over, running great distances.

General Appearance: Sora is a fairly normal looking young Dunmer, apart from her bright red hair; a strange trait that was inherited from her Mother. She is of average height at 5’7”, and is slender yet strong.

Hair Color: Bright red
Eye Color: Dunmer red

Weapons: Sora wields a Fine Silver Longsword. It was her very first purchase of a weapon, so she holds it dearly. To her it is a symbol of her maturity and her progression towards advlthood. Sora also carries a Silver Dagger, so she would have something to defend herself with if she lost her prized Longsword.

Armor: Sora wears a Mithril Cuirass, with Chainmail Greaves, Gauntlets, and Boots. In cold or wet weather, Sora will wear a fur helmet.

Other Items: Sora always wears a Jeweled Necklace that was given to her by her Mother when she left home. She also carries a backpack, which holds the items essential for her travel such as a bed roll lined with bear pelt, and extra food.

Mental Condition: Sora is a determined young woman, but she keeps her goals realistic. She tends to stay quiet in most social situations, as she is often a little distrusting around other people (as most Dunmer are). However, when she warms to someone, she will reveal a softer side, which isn’t seen often. Sora can be very sarcastic and harsh to people that she doesn’t agree with, and will readily voice her feelings about them.

Brief History: Sora grew up in a large house not far from Cheydinhal, with her parents and her two younger sisters. Her parents were wealthy, well educated mages, who constantly encouraged and pushed her skills in Destruction and Alchemy. While Sora enjoyed practicing her magical abilities, she was always looking for adventure. She was constantly exploring the wilderness around her house, advancing her abilities in Acrobatics, Athletics and Blade. She enjoyed her childhood, as her parents were always caring and supportive, but she had always looked forward to growing up and going her own way.
At the age of 19, Sora’s parents encouraged her to travel to the cities and gain access to the Arcane University, to further her learning in Alchemy and Destruction. However, Sora was more interested in her physical talents, and joined the Fighter’s Guild as soon as she left home. After a year, Sora grew tired of the lack of freedom in the Fighter’s Guild, and became less involved with the guild. Sora then began a life of Adventuring, while sustaining a small courier job to keep her in a good amount of money. Sora often travels to Bruma, as she enjoys the company of Nords, and the feel of the icy wind on her skin.

No Vampires or werevolves? Oh well, I guess i'll have to wait for the next RP.

Thats a pretty bad reason not to join an RP, you can only get better by experimentation.

There are reasons. Vampires and werewolves are innately stronger, faster, and generally "better" than their normal counterparts. And when vampires and werewolves are in RPs, the negative aspects of being one are rarely touched upon.

Indeed. I often overplay the weaknesses to justify the strengths, especially on the "mental battle" level that vampires trying to retain humanity have with their innate beast. But few people do this in my experience, and fewer people do it effectively. In fact the only person in memory who actaully RP's a fair vampires was BSparrow. Even Illusionary Nothing, while a good RPer, was a bit nooby with vamps/werecreatures.

However, while I always find ways to put my vampire characters at a disadvantage, I never introduce them to RP's where the majority of the experience will take place out doors or in daylight, i just could justify having them survive it for more than an hour :P So for this RP, I'm going to make either an Orc or a Nord. maybe even a pirate.

Well don't werewolves and vampires have feelings and families just like the rest of the people? They have souls and emotions, too. They're just twisted and evil in form, so to speak.

I wouldn't say evil, corrupt though. Some corrupt to the level where they are evil yes, others simply more predatorial in nature and instinct. Cant call a wolf evil for hutning to feed after all. Oh how I love grey area in morallity.

My bid at character for this story;

Name: Valthen Dir
Gender: Male
Race: Bosmer
Age: 19

Birth Sign: The Shadow

Combat Skills: None.
Non-Combat Skills: Archeology, Cultural History, Natural History, Engineering, Alteration, Mysticism, Spelunking, Cartography.

General Apperance: Valthen is about average height for a Bosmer, but even skinnier than the most, although this is mainly due to a somewhat atheletic musculature. His hair is short and windswept.
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color: Bosmer Black

Weapons: None.

Armor: Grey dyed woolen tunic and leggings with fur boots and leather gloves.

Other Items: A large, white woolen cloak and a pair of enchanted dwemer goggles. Rope, scrolls, scribing devices, survival equipment, Glowstone (light enchanted quartz), and a variety of potions.

Mental Condition: Valthen is extremely curious and very easily gets distracted. He's very eccentric and could go on for hours about archaeology, history, magic or just about any other academic studies. This also makes him somewhat socially inept.

Brief History: Born and raised by a couple of Mage Guild scholars, academic studies have have always been his love and goal. As soon as he could, he transfered to the Arcane University where he studied until the age of 16. Since then he has been part of a variety of expedtions to ancient ruins and other archaeological finds. At the age of 18 he decided to loosen his connection with the university and set off to find make a great discovery of his own.

Minecraft is pretty fun. My floating island paradise especially is pretty awesome.

Anyway, ok. I like what I've seen with the characters. However, Paperbag Boy, I would up your characters age just a bit, maybe into his late twenties. Elves live longer, and because of that, the "maturation" by human standards would be higher. Otherwise your character is pretty interesting.

Carrot Sandwich: You're good.

Broken-Scale: You're good.

Blademaster: You're good.

I hope it's alright. Sorry it's so long; I got slightly carried away.

Spoiler

Name: Axel Bear-Claw.
Age: 27.
Race: Nord.
Gender: Male.
Birthsign: The Warrior.

General Description: Nordic genes have blessed Axel with his tall and powerful figure, with daunting height and heavy bones Axel is noticeably larger than most other Nords. His history and upbringing as well as many years spent in the harsh wilderness have taken their toll on his muscular frame and allow for strength that is hard to equal. Concave cheeks, a strong jaw and a long, sharp, broken nose added with his low brow and slanted eyebrows give Axel a hard and rugged looking face, which often appears unfriendly and often serious regardless of his actual mood. His eyes too are unforgiving and their steel blue gaze reflects the harshness of the freezing cold environment that Axel has grown up with, complimented both by his thick black eyebrows and darkened surrounding sockets. His hair is unkempt and knotted; a black tangle left to trail down his back.
His fringe is almost spikey and trails off down to the left side of his face, often falling in front of his eye and the scar that is ripped across it. The scar is his most distinguishable feature; it remains from a bear’s paw swipe that managed to catch his face when he was younger. The scar is also what gives him his surname, and it has left him partially blind in his left eye (though it would be impossible to guess so).

Skills: Much like a typical Nord, Axel is far more gifted in the art of combat than any other, he is trained in both the use of Blades and Blunted weaponry though his favoured weapon, unusually for a Nord of his size, is a Katana. He has a simple knowledge of Alchemy able to concoct simple healing potions and weak fatigue restores (though he rarely uses them in combat), but otherwise his magical talent is non-existent. He relies in battle upon stamina and incredible strength; though he is not unintelligent and will more often than not outwit his opponent before he has to resort to his reserve of resilience and power. For such a large man, Axel is rarely clumsy; though give his size it is a challenge for him to remain undetected for long. His hunting experience has taught him, to some extent, the art of stealth for use in desperate times, though it is not often practised outside of the occasional deer hunt.

Apparel: Axel hates the feel of metal, feeling far more comfortable in leather and fur. Cohering with his name and reputation he wears an underlay of black bear fur, with dark steel pauldrons on each shoulder and similar gauntlets on his wrists. On his lower half he wears the same black bears fur coated leather pants, which are wrapped in a sort-of robe bottom made of a thin material, which too is a dark colour. He wears ordinary black leather boots though with an inlay of fur to keep out the cold. He often wears a large black cloak draping down only his left side, tattered and torn, ragged from the environment and various scraqes that he has found himself in throughout his years. The cloak has a hood attached which serves in place of a helmet and is tied around his neck almost like a scarf.

Weapons: The Katana commonly used by Axel is a family heirloom, passed down from father to son, and is cherished by Axel to the highest degree. Given its age the Katana is in surprisingly good condition. Though the blade itself remains sharp, there are various scars, chips and cuts into the swords sharp edge. The sword’s hilt is black with a simple steel blade however its size is larger (longer blade) than most ordinary katanas, and for most other men would probably serve as a two handed weapon. Axel also keeps a small knife on his belt for the majority of time, though this is not used for combat, rather an item for skinning animals or even eating. Though Axel keeps no other weapons with him, he has been known to use other weapons in the past; such as spears and axes, it is clear though that he uses his favoured katana more so than any other weapon.

Other: Axel keeps a utility like belt of helpful items to aid him on his travels:
- A map of Skyrim.
- His hunting knife.
- 30+ coins. In case he needs something.
- A leather skin for water.
- Sometimes, some ingredients that may help in making a potion or two, or simply for eating.

Personality/Mentality: Axel is renowned for his clear mind and his kind heart. Though he is quiet in person, he possesses great people skills and can often build a strong relationship with those that he interacts with. He tries to be friendly and well liked, though he will not lie nor go out of his way to impress or attract someone whom he feels would not like him for who he is. He is a good leader, confident in himself and those around him, and as a great leader can influence and build a strong team of friends, comrades or otherwise through his ability to promote a good atmosphere and raise confidence. He is, in battle calculated and precise with his movement, relying on his able speed and stamina as well as his increased strength. Resilient, Axel is tough and rarely takes failure as an option, when he does; he does it with pride and a certainty that there was nothing more he could offer to resolve a situation. He is strong in spirit and in mind, and though it would take a lot to break him down mentally he has a weakness in that he can be overly trusting or ambitious.

Nothing means more to Axel than honour, and often his word is his law. He is a highly moral being and though enjoys a scruff, would not fight and certainly not kill without need. He takes pride in his own ability to control himself and his non-violent nature towards both people and nature.

Biography/History: Axel was born and raised in a small village, due west of Markarth Side; west Skyrim. A small community and a solid moral upbringing made him the man he is, and his praise and pride for his home are often referred to in conversation. His parents are his idols, his father especially whom he maintained a close relationship throughout both his childhood and into his advlthood. It was his father that had taught him his combat and mental skills and had encouraged strength and determination through rigorous training and exercise. The small village upbringing taught him qualities of trust and friendship, and in school Axel showed great thirst for both camaraderie and knowledge.

Though he appreciated his small village, he could not help but feel that there was often, not a lot to do. He was bored, and though hunting and fishing trips with his father, school and friends were enough to keep him occupied through his early years, his later teenage years demanded more adventure and excitement than he’d previously experienced.

It was his idea that he and a small group of friends led a hunting trip when he was 17. He knew the local forests well, especially of their dangers, (drilled into him as a child by his father, which is notably where Axel gets his calculated and cautious side from) and the boys left the village for a small adventure a little further from home. The trip had been going well, they had caught a large stag and that evening the small group sat around the campfire whist the stag cooked on a roaring fire.

The smell of the stag had brought to them an unwelcome guest. A large black bear, that although approached the camp with caution had every intention of grabbing what he could of the stag, or even a young Nord. The bear attacked from behind, it was Axel’s best friend, Hans, who took the brunt of the bear’s swipe. It slammed into the back of his head and knocked him unconscious. Before anyone could react, the bear was atop Hans, mauling him, ignoring the stag that cooked beside him, and tearing at all parts of his now broken body. Axel watched as his friends stood, scared, too scared to move. He decided to act himself, and alone. Rushing at the bear and kicking it as hard as he could. The blow was hard and fast to the massive creature’s skull, but it was not enough to shake him from Hans. Axel had had no time to reach his weapon from the nearby tent, and again went at the Bear with a swift punch to the face. It was soon to be regretted as the Bear switched his attention from Hans, and onto Axel.

He began to backpedal, but the bear was fast, slamming his paws into Axels face, slashing and gauging his left side with the clear mark of the claws of the bear. He fell to the floor and the bear approached at some speed. Axel wrestled the bear, but he was no match and as fear of a fate similar to that of his friend crept into his mind, he was saved. An arrow from another of his companions shot into the bear’s skull, it cried in agony swiping more furiously at Axel, who could do no more than raise his arms and try to shield the hard blows. He survived, as another arrow slammed into the bear’s face causing it to run from the camp, and from further pain. Axel lay in both agony and exhaustion but he knew he’d been lucky.

The event had had a profound effect on the rest of his life; he decided to leave the village, to head for the city. Perhaps to find work, perhaps to find love. He knew not of what he wanted other than to get away from the memories of his friend, and to start fresh relationships and find new adventures and so he arrived in Winterhold almost immediately signing on for the expedition to Saarthal.

Oh, I set the age by human standards, since we don't have an actual measurement for elven age. So, he's the equivalent of a 19 year old human.

Any suggestions to the elven correspondents?

Elves ages identically to humans until about the age of 40-50, when the process slows down considerably and they can get up to ten years older without looking more than a day older than 40/50. Or at least, thats how it was explained to me in the days of old on the Loreforum.

Here's my sheet, tell me what you think. It's a little long but once I got going I wanted to make it as close to perfect as I could get it.
-----------------------------------------
Name: Shane Gabriel
Gender: Male
Race: Nord/Imperial
Age: 16 years old
Birth Sign: The Lady
Class: Common Knight

Combat Skills:

Armorer-- Shane typically “borrowed” his old man’s sword for training and such, so he learned to repair it to the point that he was none the wiser. When he worked up to using armor, he was given old iron armor that was thrown away by the guard. He did a great job repairing and restoring the old armor, and with all the training sessions and repairing his equipment, he’s become a pretty good armorer.

Alchemy-- Shane doesn’t have much knowledge to the subject, but he does know which plants will kill you and which ones will make you better. He’s used a mortar and pestle before and he knows how to mash plants and add water together to make potions and poisons. He figured this would be good to learn but he’s slacked off considerably.

Athletics-- Shane has always been an active kid. Growing up he played all sorts of games that required a lot of running around. He was never the fastest but he never needed to stop and catch his breath much. He could keep running from dawn ‘till dusk without needing much of a breather. After all his training in heavy armor Shane has become even more fit. He’s gotten faster as well. Also an avid swimmer, Shane has been lovingly called a fish all his life and it’s not without reason.

Blade-- Shane is quite skilled with a blade. All his life he’s seen people wielding swords and using them. And ever since he was 12 he’s known how to use one. His skill has increased very quickly as he got older, and he’s quite a natural at it. The blade seems like an extension of his arm when he moves it, cleanly moving it through the air in deadly arcs and thrusts with uncanny precision. He’s fond of redirecting strikes at the last moment to confuse his opponents. Shane is equally fluid with and without a shield, enabling him to fight in a variety of styles. He can use claymores with a high degree of skill, but he prefers smaller, lighter blades. He is a skilled swordsman, but there are many with a higher degree of skill. Talent and practice can’t beat experience.

Block-- With or without a shield, Shane can block. No matter what the weapon. Although he does have an easier time while using a shield, he can block most blows by watching his opponent closely and waiting for the right moment to block that will knock them off balance. He’s had as much experience with a shield as he had with a sword, and although he is skilled in theory, his limited experience shows.

Heavy Armor-- After training in heavy armor for a few years, Shane has learned how to move like he isn’t wearing anything. Although he is still hindered by the heavy armor as much as anyone, he knows how to move in it and has an easy time with it. He knows his limits but he likes the feel of heavy armor. It gives him a confidence he probably wouldn’t have with light armor. He tried chainmail and it made him a little too shy of the blade so he prefers the heavy armor.

Speechcraft-- Shane has always been good at talking. In fact it’s hard to shut him up a lot of the time. But he is known to make very persuasive arguments. He is likable and has a very magnetic personality. He is one of the most charismatic guys you could happen upon, and most people have nothing but good things to say about him. He is also quite funny, and leaves people in stitches a lot of the time. Shane has a clever wit about him, and his sarcasm goes along with his body language to ensure he doesn’t offend.

Non-Combat Skills:

Reading, Writing, ‘Rithmetic-- Shane went to school at the Chapel of Stendarr. He learned everything he needed to know, like reading, writing, and simple math, albeit along with smatterings of religious lessons that might’ve helped develop Shane’s strong moral code.

Debating-- Not so much formal education as arguing with his dad, Shane knows how to keep his head in an argument. He stays clear-minded for the most part, and makes logical arguments that make sense. However just like everyone he can lose his head and just get mad and start yelling, but that takes a while.

Problem Solving-- Shane has a very anolytical mind and he is able to solve a lot of complex problems and puzzles.

Horseback riding-- Enough said. He can ride a horse with enough skill to not fall off

Insane Luck-- Shane has been insanely lucky all his life. Good things seem to happen to him all the time and he maintains he’s just unnaturally lucky, whether it be winning the love of his girlfriend, Isabella whom he considers far too attractive for him, or his skill with a blade. His life has turned out well and he believes it’s because of this luck.

General Appearance:
Shane could be called a handsome kid. His face wouldn’t exactly stand out in your mind, but it does have a unique quality about it. His nose is slightly bigger than he would like but he doesn’t care much, in fact he makes fun of it often. He has high cheekbones with fairly full cheeks which sink into large dimples when he smiles. His teeth are by no means perfect but his smile has a charming factor to it. He has a strong, cleft chin which seems vaguely heroic.

His hair is dirty blond and falls just above his eyes, barely showing his brow. It also covers his ears and the back of his neck. It sticks out slightly at each side of his head but not comically, it just makes his hair style more unique. He leaves it as it looks when he rolls out of bed, but it most resembles the loose hairstyle. His eyes are by far his most striking feature, a piercing gray-blue color that make it seem that he’s looking into you. There is a lot of color mottling, all different shades of blue. However they have a warm feeling to them as if a smile is always just below the surface. Shane stands at 5’11, just shy of 6 ft and has a very average build, weighing 180 lbs with not an abundance of ripped muscle but not an abundance of fat either. He has broad shoulders that make him seem bigger than he actually is, although he is still a fairly big young man, filling out his frame nicely.

Weapons:
Shane’s favorite weapon is a fine steel longsword. He keeps it in the scabbard hanging off his left hip. He enjoys the fluidity and the weighting of the sword, while it still has enough behind it to still do some damage. He has the hilt and scabbard adorned with memories of his family, friends, and his girlfriend. In his paranoia, he keeps a steel dagger hidden on the inside of his left boot just in case he loses his sword.

Armor:
Shane wears a steel cuirass and steel grieves, nothing particularly special about that. He wears iron gauntlets in place of steel ones (he thinks of them as “glorified mittens”). He enjoys having his fingers free to feel anything he might need to. He also wears iron boots because he once tripped over the point on the toe of a pair of steel boots, and if he did that in battle he would be dead. He doesn’t like wearing a helmet, but again he’s paranoid so he wears a steel one just in case a stray arrow might fly his way. Shane also prefers an iron shield to the steel one, preferring the large round metal to the smaller square of the steel shield.

Since Skyrim is freezing, Shane is wearing furs underneath his armor. His fingers are showing through his gauntlets, but they are covered by heavy gloves. He is wearing a dark blue cloak over his armor, belted around his waist and falling to just below his knees. The sleeves have been cut away cleanly as to not hinder his combat, showing both his arms encased in his steel armor. His armor is also visable just below his neck. He wears his helmet over the hood of his cloak, and also has a fur scarf wrapped around his neck in which he hides his face from the cold.

Other Items:
Shane wears a silver chain around his neck, given to him by Isabella before he left Chorrol. It’s very plain and common, however the medal attached to it has some words of special meaning to Shane since they were written by Isabella. It’s his most precious possession and he guards it with his life. He also wears an orange ribbon she used to wear in her hair tied close to his left wrist.

Mental Condition:
Spoiler
Shane thinks of himself as crazy. He has many eccentricities and peculiarities, but he hides them well and seems sane enough. He’s always been a happy kid, and has a cheerful personality. He is quick to smile and laugh, and is quite the optimist about everything. Shane finds comfort in making people laugh and enjoys telling stories and making merry. He jokes that he would’ve been a bard if they weren’t reputed dandies. Shane is slow to anger, and he only has a few things that really set him off. Most things roll right off his back but when something hits close to home he has more trouble shrugging it off. He possesses a great sensitivity and empathy to those around him. Shane is naturally gifted at reading body language, and that enables him to tell how a person is feeling without even talking to them. He is very sarcastic, and although sometimes he finds the wrong moments for it, it always has good-natured intentions.

Shane is overly paranoid, and although he hides it, when he gets a bad thought in his head it’s hard to shake it. He also has a sort of contradictory confidence. His self-image is poor enough to the point that the only people whose opinion he holds to any value are those he cares about. This allows him to have full confidence around anyone else, and although he does wonder what people think about him he often doesn’t care. This confidence enables him to mask his real age easily, often coming off as someone much older and experienced. However he is not overconfident, Shane knows when he’s completely clueless and will often admit it. Shane has a refreshing honesty about him. He doesn’t boast or misrepresent anything, and often what he says is a varying degree of what he actually feels. He doesn’t see the point in lying about most things, but when he needs to he is quite the convincing liar. Shane believes in doing good for the sake of doing good. He does believe in the Nine, but not to the point of active worship. He feels that living a good life and trying to do right by others is more redeeming than any prayer. Shane also displays a furious loyalty to those he cares about, and would gladly fight for them. Shane has been known to show a great lack of motivation in pursuits he doesn’t really believe in, however when he believes in what he is doing, or if its for a purpose important to him, his determination to accomplish the task knows no equal. He has never killed another person, and killing creatures took a while as well. So although he is able to slay creatures with ease, he would need quite the necessity to take the life of another. Basically, he’s chivalrous.

It should be mentioned that Shane is head over heels in love. He knows that many young people fall in love, or at least they think they do, and often times its just infatuation. However he believes he has found the one in Isabella. Shane feels they are perfect for each other in every way, and he loves her with a passion bordering on zealotry. He strives to be the perfect man for her, and he would do anything for her. He believes his purpose in life is to make her happy, and he lives for her. Shane has had doubts about his feelings, and hers for him, but with each day he grows more assured. Ever the romantic, Shane has dreamed of wedding her and starting a family and living out the rest of their days together. He has told Isabella all of this, and its public knowledge that he is in love with her, but he keeps the degree of that love closely guarded from all but her.

History:
Spoiler
Shane was born in Chorrol under the Lady constellation. Growing up he guarded this information closely, for the mocking he would receive would be too much for him. Growing up he never had many close friends, and found companionship in his older cousin Nicolas. They were as close as brothers and grew up with each other. However Nicolas was always one step ahead of him in more than age. His father was a renowned knight of Chorrol and as such Nicolas started training at age 13 to become a knight. Shane’s father was a farmer, and as such he would be as well. Nicolas received superior schooling and also went through combat practice, much to Shane’s chagrin. But Nicolas began teaching Shane what he had been learning from his father and other knights. Shane also took to watching the training sessions of other knights as well as Nicolas’ in order to see all he could.

Nicolas was a good teacher. As they grew older, he taught Shane all he learned from his father. Shane and his cousin were nearly equal in skill. It was hard to keep this training secret for long. One day Nicolas’ father, Shane’s uncle heard the clanking of iron and followed the sound to Shane and Nicolas, both in iron armor and sparring with iron shields and swords. He watched in silence and saw that Shane was a promising combatant. After this moment he started inviting Shane to the same training sessions as his cousin. They trained together, no longer in secret, and became the most promising young warriors in all of Tamriel. Shane told his father about his training and was surprised to learn his father used to be a soldier in the Imperial Legion in Skyrim. At this point their training became a family affair, both Shane’s father and uncle teaching he and Nicolas both the knightly ways of combat and the more rugged, proven methods of a military force. In this way, they received the best training possible.

Shane balanced his household farming chores, secondary school at the Chapel of Stendarr, and his combat training for 6 years. He was happy with the way his life was, however one day he realized something was missing. That was the day he met Isabella Taylor. He was taking a break from training, and when a group of kids not much younger than himself. Shane and Nicolas decided to throw pebbles at them. It was all great fun until a young lady saw them doing that. She proceeded to march towards them, and slap Shane across the back of the head. Her name was Isabella. Little did he know it, that was the beginning of the most important relationship he would ever have. After a few weeks of courting, the two began a relationship. They did everything together, and Shane had fun as long as she was around. He started slacking off in school and work, although he always had time for training. It took him two months to fall in love with her, and her even less time. Shane proclaimed his love for her, and she for him, and they became closer than ever. Isabella was Shane’s closest friend and he told her everything without fear. After they were together for nearly a year, Isabella’s grandmother fell ill. Healers across the province couldn’t cure her no matter what they tried. The affliction weighed heavily on Isabella, and in turn weighed on Shane as well. He promised Isabella he would do everything he could to help.

One day a healer from Morrowind came to see Isabella’s grandmother. The healer said it was a rare disease, and she needed many alchemical ingredients in order to concoct a potion to cure her. All together, these ingredients cost a small fortune, much more than they could afford. Shane started working in the fighter’s guild, trying to raise the money needed to get Isabella’s grandmother her treatment. However it was never enough. So one day Shane decided he would go out into the world and do as much as he could to obtain the gold. He told everyone he thought should know to varying degrees of approval. Isabella was the most vehemently against it, however Shane needed to keep his promise to her and do all he could to do so. And so Shane left his home and his love, venturing out to find enough money, or the materials themselves, in order to keep his promise to his future wife and save her grandmother.

Shane heard of Winterhold, and the call it’s king has sent out. He responded, hoping that by exploring the ruins of Saarthal he would be richly rewarded by the nobles and kings. To those without knowledge of Shane’s life, his journey seems selfish and he seems greedy, but he hopes to obtain enough wealth to cure Isabella’s grandmother.Shane plans on keeping his age a secret, thinking that the others would feel having a 16-year-old warrior in their midst would be more a hinderence than an aid

Due to his tribal family's roving ways, Juhanor spent much time in the different parts of Elsweyr, from Rimmen to the Forests of Elsweyr and Valenwood. When he was but a kitten, a horrid Bosmer slaver attempted to capture Juhanor, with plans to sell him to a merchant in the Imperial City. Juhanor escaped, but not before taking the slaver's life and weaponry, a pair of Kukri knives, in addition to a pair of circular scars upon each of his wrists (from the shackles). Juhanor then spent his years learning how to defend himself, and became a superb Marksman and Blade wielder. Upon reaching the age of 20, Juhanor decided to leave his tribe, in order to bring justice to those in need of it. During his adventures, Juhanor had his family longbow, Vaba, enchanted by an Altmer mage, giving it the ability to fire arrows with much more force than before, and learned how to read and write most scripts from a once-wealthy Breton hermit living in the Imperial City.

Mental Condition:

Juhanor, being a Khajiiti, takes most things as they come to him, and has a very relaxed personality. If he sees something unjust occuring, however, Juhanor instantly intervenes, sometimes leading to dangerous situations. Juhanor can't abide less-than-reputable characters. In addition, because of his kittenhood incident with a Bosmeric slave, Juhanor spends much of his time hunting slavers, and is wary of most Bosmer, until they prove their good intentions.

20 meters of climbing ropes
Pitons
Sack of Moon Sugar

Name: Kahle En - Dro- Gran
Gender: Male
Race: Orc
Age: 27

Birth Sign: The Atronarch

Combat Skills: Blunt Weapons and Heavy Armor
Non-Combat Skills: Alchemy, Mysticism, and Conjuration
General Apperance: Ugly. Large dominant brow, scar on top of head
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown

Weapons: Steel Warhammer

Armor: Orcish Heavy Armor

Other Items: Apprentice's Mortar and Pestle in a bag, along with some random ingredients and a few basic Mysticism scrolls.

Mental Condition: Essentially bi-polar. Usually very peaceful, reflective even, and happy. Gets violent when frustrated, depressed when violent.

Brief History:

Kahle was abandoned at a young age and raised by monks in the mountains of Skyrim. Some of the monks were uncomfortable with him from the beginning. As he got older and his violent tendencies developed they began pushing for his ejection. He wasn't advancing in the magical schools they wanted to see developed. He didn't much care for Restoration and had embraced some of the less desirable schools.

At one point one of the elder monks who had disliked him from the beginning made a comment to the abbot about how even his mongrel parents had abandoned him, inferring that perhaps they knew something the monks did not. The monk hadn't realized that Kahle was present. Kahle's life of adventuring had begun long before that monk awoke from his coma.

Since then he has wandered the mountains, generally getting along with everyone aside from the occasional drunken and naked Nord.

hahaha well thanks, and yeah I was thinking 16 was really young, but I think thats a unique part of the character. Plus it kind of explains why he's going through these lengths for the girl he loves, the whole young love thing.

Hhahaha and I just read your sheet and found our characters are a bit alike, and that he's a bard.....sorry for that dandy comment in my mental condition section.....

Don't worry about it. Besides, that'll make it interesting when our characters first meet in the RP.

There are 1.5 Nords and one Archaeologist character.

So we aren't completely disturbed.
