Name: Tymvironr Bear-Jaw
Race: Nord
Age: 30 years old
Birthsign: The Warrior
Class: Nordic Warrior
Skills:
Strength and Endurance
Armored—Tymvironr is used to being broke for long periods of time. He’s learned you can’t always stroll into town and pay some blacksmith to fix it for you, nor trust them all. Tymvironr has been repairing all his things himself since he was a boy. His father taught him how, and he’s practiced for years. At this point he could get paid for the amount of skill he has.
Blade—Tymvironr is a talented swordsman, another skill he has practiced since he would walk. Big or small, he can swing a blade with deadly accuracy. He appreciates that blades need a certain finesse not needed in blunt weapons, and he can do fancy sword moves and the like, although Tymvironr prefers functionality over showmanship. He possesses a high degree of skill with a blade, but if that doesn’t cut it his brute force comes in handy.
Block—Tantamount to fighting is the ability to block. Tymvironr first started blocking out of instinct, but as he grew more experienced he learned to block effectively and use it as an instrument in combat. He can hold out against a barrage of blows, and he has grown skilled at choosing the opportune moment to knock the opposing weapon back and his opponent off balance. He can do this with both shield and weapon, and has found that few posses the courage and drive to plow through his guard.
Blunt—Tymvironr is particularly fond of blunt weapons. He enjoys using his considerably strength to bludgeon things to submission, unconsciousness, or death, depending on how hard he swings. He prefers maces and warhammers to axes and battle axes, but he can use any variation of blunt weapons. Tymvironr enjoys the more natural feel of blunt weapons, allowing him to simply swing away at different parts of the body to get the effect he wants, making combat easy in his eyes.
Hand-to-Hand—Tymvironr’s first weapons were his fists. Although he prefers the damage a weapon can inflict, his fists allow him to pummel people with a high degree of control, and nothing substitutes for the feeling of a fist connecting with someone’s jaw. Tymvironr throws in strikes from all parts of his body, making him a formidable opponent in any fist fight. His skill with all degrees of fighting ensures he is a capable fighter with any type of provisions.
Heavy Armor—Tymvironr’s newest skill, he has less experience with heavy armor than light, however at this stage he prefers it. With heavy armor he relies less on his own body to receive punishment and more on the metal encasing it. It makes him feel unstoppable, even though this isn’t the case. The heavy armor allows him to get much closer to the combat and take many more blows than usual, making him an even deadlier killing machine.
Light Armor— Tymvironr thinks of his light armor as a second skin. It gives him an extra layer of protection against the elements as well as an extra layer to take the punishment of battle. He has used it since he was big enough to wear it, which happened in puberty at age 12. He is more familiar with it and can use all forms, enjoying the freedom of movement it gives him. Although after his discovery of heavy armor his skill in light armor just gives more proof that he is a master at all forms of combat.
General Appearance: Tymvironr is huge. At 6’5, 250 lbs, he stands as tall as a high elf, if that high elf had been combat trained since he could walk. His body is all muscle, and the only fat is left over from dealing with the extreme cold in his homeland of Skyrim. His face was once handsome, but that is hidden behind scars and weather-beaten flesh. He has one large scar on the left side of his head running from the top of his forehead all the way down to his jaw. His long golden blond hair is tied in wind braids at the temples and on the back of his head. He has a very thick golden blond beard enveloping the bottom half of his face, as well as sideburns meeting the rest of his hair. His eyes are a deep blue color, almost black. Those eyes can be warm with friendship or hot with fury, and often the last thing his enemies see is the deep blue fire in those eyes.
Tymvironr’s face always displays whatever he’s feeling, never having any need to hide his emotions. His smile lights up his whole face, and his scowl darkens it in the same way. Tymvironr is possibly the most imposing figure you could meet, with good reason. One feels safe with his massive figure at their back, and the others are fearful at seeing him among the enemy. His bulk is so recognizable that even in full armor one may recognize him. His entire body is covered in Nordic tattoos, each telling a story about his life in some way. His head and neck are the only parts of his body not covered in tattoos.
Personality: Tymvironr’s massive frame comes with a massive personality. He is the perpetual warrior in spirit, always looking for a fight. He finds close companionship with fellow warriors who can entertain each other with stories of battle. Tymvironr has a great respect for all warriors, no matter what race. However he is wary of magic wielders who aren’t Nords, viewing their arts as evil witchcraft. But he is so stooped in this belief that exceptions can’t be made, and if a mage is courageous and deadly in battle he will have a fiercely loyal friend in Tymvironr. He will fight to the death for any he calls his comrade, and believes dying in battle to be particularly noble if it is to save someone else.
Tymvironr is very loud, as is the Nordic tradition. When he speaks things rattle and the entire building can hear his voice. This trait and his scar are the reasons behind his surname, Bear-Jaw. He tends to tell loud and jovial war stories and other tales of his experiences. His voice is a powerful trait of his, and he is prone to a demoralizing roar when charging into battle. His own personal form of psychological warfare to go along with his size. As a Nord his voice is extremely powerful and has certain magical qualities, and he is able to use it to its fullest extent, however he hardly uses these gifts as they are quite forbidden in Nordic culture. Although he isn’t exactly book smart, with very limited reading and writing experience, Tymvironr is en expert on combat. He knows all that goes into a battle and is a skilled tactician on both the large and small scale. He has also been known to surprise people with intellectual insight. His confidence is monumental, and he is not insecure at all. He knows what he knows and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks about him. He does respect opinions however, and knows when to bow to superior experience; however that is a rare occurrence.
Tymvironr is at home in combat. When fighting he is at his best, and nothing phases him. He simply adapts and finds a way no matter what the factor. He has not met a situation he cannot beat, and since he has never retreated and never plans to, the thing he cannot overcome will be the thing that kills him. He follows a strict warrior code, and he will not kill an unarmed combatant (however he will drop his weapon and take him on that way). If an enemy retreats or surrenders he will allow them to go. He always keeps his head and the anger he shows is used to frighten the enemy more than anything.
Outside of battle he always needs to be doing something. He grows bored easily, and with nothing to do he grows anxious and must venture out. He often goes into the wilderness to fight vicious creatures, or venture into ruins to explore and look for a good fight as well as artifacts to sell. He has been to various jails several times for getting into bar fights. Tymvironr hopes to settle down one day, but he is aware his obsession with battle is a massive hindrance to that goal. He almost wishes that he’ll go into battle and get crippled so he could focus on this goal, but it never happens.
Clothing/Armor: Tymvironr wears a full set of orcish armor, including the helmet which he keeps in a sack hanging from his belt. He enjoys the freedom of movement it gives him while also allowing him to take a large amount of punishment. He wears his orcish shield strung across his back, over his hammer. All his armor is emblazoned with the jaw bone of a bear. For the cold climate of Skyrim, Tymvironr is wearing thin fur armor underneath his orcish armor to keep him warm as well as add more protection for himself. Other than that he doesn't need much to stay warm in his homeland.
Weapons: Tymvironr keeps a dwarven warhammer using a sort of hammock contraption as a sheath for it on his back. This hammer allows him three different combat options unique to this hammer. He also keeps a Nordic broadsword on his left hip. Mostly out of pride for his race, he has consistently used Nordic weapons and armor over the years. In his travels he has much preferred these to many others of their kind. Just like his armor, these bear the emblem of a bear jaw bone.
Biography/History:
Tymvironr Bear-Jaw was born in a small village in Skyrim. His father and mother were both warrior of great skill and regard. They were known across the land, however they took a break from the warrior’s way of life to raise their son. Well, their idea of raising anyway. Tymvironr grew up among weapons and armor, with dull daggers being his toys and rusted shields his sleds. He used to drum on helmets as if they were instruments. He was no stranger to the tools of battle at an early age.
As soon as he learned how to walk, Tymvironr’s parents taught him how to hold a weapon and a shield. They had him chopping and beating snow while holding his shield out in front of him. It was all very light, and the shield was a small piece of a fur shield. There were children in the village, but Tymvironr didn’t like them. He was too rough and always sent them home crying to their mothers.
When Tymvironr was big enough his parents through him in fur armor and told him to never take it off. He played with his weapons and shields while wearing the armor and soon he felt like he wasn’t wearing anything. Over the years his father would take him out into the wilderness and would watch as Tymvironr fought wolves, teaching him tips and tricks and allowing him to get real experience. Then they would go home and his mother would oversee his repairing of the equipment. His early years were easily described as militant. He had a close bond with both his parents and they gave him all the love and companionship he could need.
By the time he was 15, Tymvironr was fighting bears. He received that long scar on his face during a fight with a particularly angry male grizzly bear. But one night, as the village slept, it was attacked by a band of marauders. They set fire to all the houses with all the people still inside. Tymvironr’s father got him out and went back for his mother. However she was blocked by the flames, and he couldn’t save her. In a fit of rage his father attacked the marauders, killing most of their number before finally succumbing to a poisoned blade. Tymvironr took up his father’s sword and killed the remainder of them.
The loss of his parents weighed heavily on him, and he distracted himself with fighting and hard work. He left the remains of his village and joined a shipping vessel, sailing around the world. Wherever the ship docked he would venture out in search of a fight. When he couldn’t find one he went to the bar and fought the toughest looking guy in there. Eventually his captain fired him and left Tymvironr stranded in the jail in Anvil. Before he had a chance to serve his time, the leader of the Fighter’s guild came and made a deal: he bailed Tymvironr out, and he would join the guild and stay out of trouble. He agreed.
Tymvironr’s time in the fighter’s guild cemented much of his personality. He fought with similar men and women, all towards a common goal. He got his fill of fighting and allowed him to hone his skills. He became the biggest stand-out the guild had had in years. Tymvironr was sent all across Cyrodiil to the various guilds, tackling any missions they had for him, including ones especially for his level of skill. He was reputed all around for his proficient combat abilities.
When the guild lacked work, Tymvironr would train or fight anything he could find out in the wild. Eventually he decided to try the arena. He enjoyed the one-on-one combat it offered, as well as the live or die mechanic. He never lost, and he only fought in the arena when there wasn’t work available anywhere else, but he was reputed as unbeatable by most who viewed his matches.
Tymvironr is always on the lookout for a good fight. The guild has kept him out of trouble for a long while, but that’s because he hasn’t gone looking for it. He openly accepts contracts of all types, as long as a fight is involved. Tymvironr answered the call as a means of racial pride, coming to explore the ruins for his kind.
