Seriously, I haven't found a better weapon short of rocket launchers/fatman than this one. It used to be Op in New Vegas but now it's even more, packing around 480 dmg + perks ( mind you i dont have lone wanderer perk ) , and can easily attack for 2500-3000 dmg with sneaking and sandman perks. It oneshots Behemoths and Mirelurk Queens. It's insane. Anybody else using the necron's weapon of choice?

sounds cool. ill give it a try. im using a 2 shot modded shotgun right now, and it's doing 300+ without perks. close combat, its 2-3 shots and kills the target.

just wondering, is there such thing as a two shot fatman?

Yes, there is. I believe a merchant is selling one. I think it's the mexican dude in Diamond City. Also, I think it's called " Big Boy "

I've got mine by playing the Main Quest. One of the Railroad agents carried one.

That's from where the big damage boost comes from. If you dont silence it, you only get 3.5 damage bonus from sneaking. However, if you silence it and take sandman perks, it does like 4-5 times the damage.

Actually, Mirelurk Queen from the Castle mission took 3 nukes to die.

Was level 12 and didn't had any big weapon damage perk or something. Although, I tried sneak attack and critical attack on the queen with the Fatman and the shots still registered as normal damage...strange.
