Suit connector - allows the rifle to get extra juice from the nanosuit, allowing you to put extra electricity through the electromagnets resulting in a one hit kill, would be a charged shot draining all energy but rewarding you with a one hit kill?

Yes I think If they did possibly add "suit connector" it would definitely encourage the use of the Gauss attachment. Great idea!
