I think its a one shot kill when they are low on energy, have no armor and when you aim at the chest or above. I have 50 kills with it. 15 headshots. Maybe 3 of the other kills were one shot kills in the chest.

The DSG is better, because its rpm is almost twice as high, while you kill everyone with the same ammount of shots.

Let me get this straight.

That's the way it is in CoD for the most part, but it's not weaker than the DSG1 anyway.
in cod BO l96a1 and psg1 both ohk to upper chest and oviously you havent used gauss on ps3 it is weaker quit trying to stop us with your weak ass arguements were asking one shot kill if no armor up 2 with armor quit being such a troll mickey and L2P

Perhaps I should have clarified, I assumed as you were using the general term 'weapon' that the example did not need to be specific to sniper rifles. My point was that in Black Ops the most powerful weapons are rarely the late unlocks.

As for Black Ops' sniping system, imo it svcks bad. Too many guys get away with using a sniper rifle like an AR, which is just so wrong for an OHK weapon.

Well.. At least its confirmed that it does only ohk in rare circumstances. I just tested it on an afk player again. Right between the shoulders. Nothing but blood, but we was still standing, so i smacked him down.

actually this isnt totaly true i shot a guy then he thre up armor right after shot

Bro, he implied that if you shoot someone with armor on you're going to ruin him a lot of energy. Ofc he threw up his armor after getting shot... :/

pls crytek answer the ps3 community some questions, in pc & xbox section the questions will be answered sometimes but in ps3 never.
