After figuring out that the ingame character creation just simply doesn't cut it anymore, I decided to give the G.E.C.K a shot.

I downloaded it from the offical site, Version 1.4 and placed it in the New Vegas folder (were the FalloutNV.exe file is located).

It worked exactly two seconds before it apparently closed it self. No error messages or anything.

Does anyone here have the slightest idea on how I could fix this? I'm using Windows 8 if that means something.
