How about a quest mod, where he has to rescue a damsel in distress from some nasties... Your the damsel. Then you propose to him.

That`s actually similar to a story line in the original fallouts where you save these people on a farm and both the daughter and gay son want to marry you!

Its possible to make a dress, it can be either a new Mesh of your design or a Retexture of an existing dress. I can help you with either.

Its also possible to put youir face on a character. I can either do this for you, or tell you how to do it yourself. You`ll need a head shot photo from the front and the side.

That's from FO2, and Miria/Davin will sleep with you whether you've solved the Ghost Farm quest or not. From there, unless you're a fast talker, you get caught by the father and forced into a shotgun wedding.

I use the mod which makes Miria level up with you like everyone else, so she isn't totally useless. Besides, there's something sweet about exploring the wasteland with your wife. And a super mutant, and a cybernetic killing machine, and a talking deathclaw with a robe.

if you are going to have a character avatar of yourself come up to your boyfriend's character, make sure she is invincible when you are modding her.

he might shoot her thinking it was a hostile LOL. Anyway, good luck and this certainly will be a wedding proposal to remember

pistolero gave me the idea of standing behind a locked gate, because it may be too hard to be in a locked cage? i don't know, i just saw a screen shot of the paradise place and there was a skeleton in a cage and i like that idea. i want to be in the cage and have him find the key within that room, then let me out. (or kill a monster thats pretty hard to beat, that is hiding in that room, to get the key?) ...or just behind the gate, as if i were locked in somewhere and i just have to tell him to find the key to let me out, and once i am out, i will reward him. working on the "scripting"? (what to say, then give him 2 options of responses, then have a response to each one ready. then no matter how that one got answered, have my next thing to say with 2 options again, then responses to those.) so either way, the next thing will lead to what i want, anyways, and only bad things will happen if he says no at the end. hahah. otherwise, it will be a cute thing leading to a YES.

and i will make sure to be invincible hahah ty.

Just write out the whole thing in full as you want it to happen including dialogue. And we will tell you what is possible, probably all of it from what you`ve said so far.

I`d do it something like this:

Message pops ingame up about a damsel in distress on the pipboy radio.

He listens to the pipboy radio and its your voice asking for help because you`ve been kidnapped by slavers, probably whispering to disguise your voice and because you being guarded by slavers.

Voice on radio leads to a small dungeon.

Girl in locked cage in dungeon (girl NPC is set to essential to avoid unlikley event of death)

Guy kills a few bad guys, one of them has the key.

Guy lets Girl out of cage.

Few lines of dialogue... including proposal

Happy ever after! (game continues on, girl could move in with player if he has an ingame home..lol)

That`s really simple stuff. Totally doable. Including custom dress, custom face and you can use your voice, You`d just have to record your dialogue somewhere secretly, the better the sound equipment the better your voice ingame will sound. You can do it with just a desktop mic. But I`d recommend something more professional if you know of anywhere. The reason that the professionalism is important, is so that he doesnt notice the transition between what is already part of the game, and what you`ve added. If he hears your voice and it doesnt seem like part of the game.. you`ll be rumbled right there.

If you like that senario, than all you need do is

1: Write out your dialogue,
2: Record your voice saying it.
3: And get 2 photo`s side and front.

Post a like to those files here, and I`m sure everyone who is able to will make this happen for you. I`ll do as much as I can myself.

Just need a location. I`d plug for a little scenic cave with nice lighitng effects. Although Old Andy`s Building looks nice.

After that, We need some one who can add the lipsync for the recoded voice. CrowBennet? Any other suggestions/takers? It`s not something I`ve done before, but if no one offers, I`d be willing to learn. I`d have to buy Oblivion again though to generate the lip files.

I could help with LIP File generation (made a little part of the lip synced audio of my own mod already), quest scripting and npc packages. My english is not the best so all dialogue text must be proof readed, better would be given text.

There are several kneeling animations in backsteppo's pose pack, included in the groovatron mod. Allthough it's usually the man who kneels when proposing, just figured I should mention it in case anyone didn't know or wanted to know

Edit: The pose should work for a female character thought right? Not much experience with that. If not, I`ll ask Backsteppo to make a female kneeling pose.

Edit 2: I just PMed Backsteppo to ask him if his animation can be used for female characters, and if not, would he mind getting involved and adapting it. Ill post back when he replies. He`s a really great guy so if he can help, I`m sure he will.
