i must admit i was on the fence about this entire idea when the thread first started. but it's heartwarming to see so many of the forum members contributing time and effort to make it work. skykappa thats an awesome job. this is what the mod community is all about - coming together to achieve something not for profit but for the benefit of others.

okay, so it happened, i cried lol.

you guys...i will find some way to thank you. you better believe that. omg. i have to think of something. i had no idea where to start and here you guys are, pulling together and making amazing things happen. you are ALLLL going down in history. this is the fallout proposal of a lifetime. after hearing your skills and points of expertise, i am learning that this is a lot harder to do than i had imagined (having NO modding exp, what-so-ever) . i was ready to learn everything, but it would have probably come out all scrappy like a kindergartner made it. now, i see this as PRO to the MAX. i still cannot wait to get into geck, once i get the pc version of the game, to better understand what you guys are doing. myyy goshhh.

-- random side note...i work at petsmart, in the Pets Hotel. i got bitten pretty bad by a dog in november. i was holding a pool of blood while surrounded by 15 dogs, crying and having to walkie-talkie someone to help me. last month, dog bit me on the wrist, between my bones, my finger went psycho and the nerve damaged for a while. still in wrist brace. TODAY...i was playing with a bull dog, she jumped and her skull chipped one of my front teeth. so i have to go to the dentist monday i think, and see how to get it fixed. its a tiny chip, thank goodness. but still....baaad luck at work.

i can't even bring myself to close the tabs in my browser with the ring pics and the pose, and the thought of the interior design .. omg you guys.

i was thinking about having a dragon/moat but i didnt want to sound any more crazy than i am LOL. can you imagine him getting the radio transmission, coming to a building/castle/place that is guarded, then joke to himself "what the [censored] is this? am i going to save a princess???" hahah then BAM! save-time. lol.

i knew i wanted to do this through fallout 3, that i wanted it to be creative, and that i wanted it to last for more than 20 seconds. (so it wasn't like...hey.. TAH-DUH!) and thissss...omg it keeps getting better.

i wanted this kind of a story line because i call him "Prince Charming" and I had a statue of a knight, ordered an engraved plaque thing to attach to it, naming it the "Knight in Shining Armor Award" and it looks like a silver trophy. of a knight. lol.

My Girl, in her infinite wisdom, once made we watch a soppy Japanese romance film called `Train Man`. Basically a load of Internet *ahem* geeks like us, help another to secure the girl of his dreams and cheer him on. Kinda reminds me of this! Not that your a Japanese bloke, or a geek. lol. Good film though, for a chick flick.

Sesom has very kindly offered to generate the lip sync files for your spoken dialogue so if you post a link to them here when they are done, Ill forward him the script you sent me, If you make any changes though let him know and give him them in text format too, as he says his english isnt so good. Then we can get them added to Old_Andy`s Esp file. Then were almost done.

From a guy who doesn't know anything about modding - I only browse this forum to see what mods I can download - my hat is off, my waist is bent, and my head is lowered to all the good hearts and great talents I can see in this thread.

A suggestion.

IF at the end of this mod he says yes - and he better dang say yes - after he clicks on the 'yes' option, do you think it would be a good idea, and could be done, to -

(1) have all corpses dispatched by Groom hero suddenly disappear, blood ditto
(2) have the castle suddenly fill up with light
(3) have the Groom suddenly re-equip with a tux even snazzier than Tenpenny's
(4) have the bride SUDDENLY sprout a drop-dead gorgeous WEDDING DRESS!!! We need a girl modder to do this, methinks. Kikaimegami? Princess Stomper? Anyone?
(5) And a band, of course! I think Maran was making a rock band for his Sirens Call mod but he hasn't been on here lately.
(6) And...

the guests arrive. All the modders who have helped to actually build this mod!

Digital recorder is normaly a good thing. If there is any possibilty to get the audio files direct from the recorder (via a USB connection or memory card) the audio quality in the game would be better.

If it is rerecorded with the PC there are often audio artefacts. If you have to choose this way, use the freeware program audacity with 44.1 kHz Mono 16 Bit uncompressed wave file settings to rerecord the audio from the digital recorder.

I have a good eperience in tv production (made a monthly tv magazine, over three years) and i can help if the audio needs to be filterd.

nah its fine - it got my attention, but after i finished reading it and looked at 'normal' text i felt drunk.

expect a very capitalist response from bethesda:
if its successful, and the mod is polished and the result is a happy ending, bethesda will be knocking at your door offering to help.

if it turns out..well, badly - expect tepid reactions 'officially'. They wouldnt want to lose face, its bad for stock prices.

for your sake, and the sake of the life of the guy involved should he anger a woman after so much effort, i hope it goes great! maybe they'll PAY for the wedding if it's good enough. Then you wouldnt have to(wait...i guess modern weddings the bride and groom go dutch. i'm oldschool...)

the only thing i would ask of gamesas, once completed, is if i could have 2 bobbleheads to make a cake topped LOL. i am so excited that they did fallout 3, that it came out amazingly, that they gave the user the ability to make modifications, and that they led me to you guys, who are making my daydream come true. i love gamesas, i love you guys, oh yeah, and my bf.

my bf was going to choose the game over me when it 1st released because he had been looking forward to it for so long! but for my release (mod/cage/unlock) (lol, pun.) he will have both at the same time!
