Geforce 580GTX SLI performance drops with low gpu usage

Hi there I have some serious problems with my setup when I enable SLI (2 or 3 way even worse).

The game uses very badly two GPU's all the time, averaging on 75% each and not pulling more than 45/50fps... the thing is that I have 3 GPU's and a 3D Vision monitor so I wanted to play the game in 3D but without the power of SLI'ed cards it's impossible.

The game often drops (for no reason as there's no CPU bottleneck or any other matter) the gpu usage at 40/45% each resulting in 30 or lower fps (I have better results in single gpu mode!).

Now tell me what's the point in having installed the latest drivers from nvidia that claim +65% performance... The cards could easily handle this game at solid 60fps with correct gpu scaling, maybe not in 2way but surely in 3way sli.

I've bought the game and not downloaded it from the scene because I believed in Crytek as Crysis 2 runs flawlessly in sli, I played the entire game in DX11 and 3D vision at 60fps wth 3way sli...but now I'm really upset! That isn't the way to repay people that spend thousand euros on a high end PC and more euros in a game!

Please release a patch because I'm pretty sure that this issue is not driver related because sli already works.

My PC specs: Intel i7 950 @4,2GHz, 12GB RAM DDR3 1600 triple channe, Asus PX58D-E, Creative X-FI PCIe Fatal1ty, 3x MSI Twin Frozr 2 Nvidia 580GTX @850/2150, 1250W Sapphire Pure PSU, HAF932, Samsung 830 SSD, Nvidia 314.07 Drivers

SlyFox I've tried every possible graphics setting and the most demanding are Object Detail and Shading/Shadows. But these settings have no influence on the slow down issue as the framerate drops the same with low to very high setting.

Problem is that the game lowers gpu usage in certain spots, the usage is never that good but when gpus are used up to 70/80% I can easily reach 60fps; when the graphic engine hits some effects or a combination of them slows down by itself and gpus are used at 20 to 40% max resulting in very poor framerate.

Now the point is that I've seen some Geforce Titan reviews against Radeon HD7970 and testing with Crysis 3 results in AMD/ATI being far ahead in Crossfire vs SLI, Nvidia cards only doubles medium and max fps while AMD doubles the minimum framerate too when using 2 cards. Not enough Nvidia drops the min framerate with sli and even worse in 3way sli!!! If the 7970 scores about 20fps min adding a second card results in 40 fps min...Nvidia from 20fps single card drops to 18 in sli and 15 in 3way...

Now I am sure that anyone that uses PC for gaming knows that it's the minimum framerate that really matters, I don't care if I can pull 150fps max since I want to play with vsync at 60fps solid or 30fps if the graphics are amazing like Crysis 3. With my 3 cards I could play in 2d at capped 60fps or 3d at 30fps no problem at all if the engine had the same multigpu support for ATI/AMD and NVIDIA, but that's not the case. I only hope that this is an issue meaningfully inserted in the code by Crytek because game has AMD Gaming evolved badge...and soon a patch will fix this!
