Geko and Gako

Post » Mon Dec 28, 2009 10:25 am

Geko and Gako were born both as twins by Argonian parents. Though they were born small, their young lives were fascinating. By age 3 both Geko, and Gako, were able to scale a fair distance brick wall, and pounce from it. At age 4 they were both rewarded with a Swamp Leviathan claw necklace, which resembled their hunting skills. At age 6, both were given magical steel daggers. One of the daggers, which was Geko's, was named Dragontalon. The other, which was obviously Gako's, was named Hawkscale. They had no magical effects, yet both were engraved and smithed in a very unique form. The daggers were twenty thousand septims each, probably. These daggers were used frequently by the twins for hunting.

14 years later, the twins were of age 20 and have achieved their freedom in the world. They decided to go work together. Whilst leaving home by jumping into the underground .... (Will be updated later, bed.)

Extremely short, even for an intro.

Try to add more diversity.

Now we allready know that there's something special going to happen with those daggers. It kills the depth a bit...

Beyond agreeing with the previous post, I also submit that you should read up on your Argonian lore, particularly those regarding the Hist ceremonies and other Argonian childhood traits. Particularly how the usually poor argonian got a spare forty thousand septims lying around for daggers. I don't know about you, but if I gave my kid his first dagger, it would be some hand me down iron affair. The closest way I can think of to integrate those while remaining sensible is either they found them or they were family heirlooms. Same with the necklaces...

Also, their childhood feats could be described by more than their presents and something about a wall...Really, I wouldn't quite call their lives fascinating so far, just kind of spoiled, really. They get all these nice presents all the time for no given reason... (If you hadn't gotten the hint, I would like to see more elaboration on their past later. Especially how they came across the artifacts that make up the bulk of your story , intro , paragraph)

As always, keep it up!

PS. I don't know why you sleep for three days, but it is unusual XP. I usually only go for one and a half.
