Sorry if this is stupid but I didn't really play FO3 so I don't know if there is any differences between the genders. Is there any? I haven't heard any talk about it so I'm assuming that there isn't but I don't want any surprises. If there is a difference no matter what I'll still probably pick a chick :3 booty duty calls

There's no actual difference however you will encounter different speech or options with some characters depending on your gender.

yeah there was some differences, check youtube, there was different perks that did basically the same thing, and i thing some topics were different but not by much, and it would be cool if nv was diff!

I believe Caesar's Legion is supposed to be "men only," and that their women are slaves. If so, I wonder how a female character will fit in.

Since some of the original Fallout crew is back, we may see more gender differences like in FO1 and FO2.

For instance, in FO2, if you were female, you would be propositioned by a slaver for six to get a better deal on buying a slave. You would also get hit on by sleezy bar patrons, and how you reacted to that was up to you, including some [censored]y exchanges like:

Patron: You're pretty (charisma factored in too). Wanna [censored]?

You: 200 caps.

Patron: Aww. I ain't got that much.

You: Then you can't afford me.

Female characters could also get hired by Miss Kitty at a brothel, and get discounts at stores if they had the six Appeal trait.

Male characters could "donate" genetic material in Vault City, and only stupid Male characters could box. Stupid female characters couldn't, but smart female characters could. :blink:

Certain characters would only sleep with a certain gender character, including some surprising twists, where the wife of a mob boss has lisbian inclinations and can proposition your character if you are female. This allows you to get snuck in past all the mob boss's security and rob him blind by stealing everything in his safes after your "lover" falls asleep. You can even persuade his wife to give you the combination to her husband's safes, which she views as a big "[censored] you" to him.

I'm hoping to see more variety and differences between the genders than was evident in FO3 myself.

I hear pointing a shotgun at someones crotch is a convincing arguement. But more likely you'll do something to get into their good graces.

there should be a difference imo. Like, maybe female chars can't carry as much weight as the male ones, but they automatically have more agility etc. But yeah, no difference in game aside from dialog and perk options.

when you play a chick in fallout 3 you get mutated and turn into a spider, a black widow to be precise. and when you play as a male, the whole story revolves around killing ladies.

Only a couple perk differences, and those perks alter some dialog and damage in combat.

there is no cross dressing super mutant in the game. Tabitha is the only known female super mutant in the game. It comes from a misconception in early articles about New Vegas. They addressed the articles and confirmed she is female.
