Here are some general combat tactics.

1. USE YOUR SUIT!!!! If you're not doing anything cloak, are at least activate your armor. It's a waste of energy if you don't use it.

2. When sniping, hold still and cloak until you're ready to take a shot . This way, no one will see you until you light them up.

3. Maximum armor is very useful when taking long falls. Use it before you hit the ground to avoid taking massive damage.

4. Cloak when you are behind someone holding still. You can then one-hit silent kill them. If you melee them twice, it's possible to get killed in some unfortunate manner before you secure your kill.

5. Use your weapons effectively. Don't run around with a sniper rifle, and don't try to snipe with a shotgun. It may seem obvious, but it's surprising how many people try to use weapons differently than intended.

#1 Dont forget that speed is also a mode of your suit, running normally (No stealth/armor) can get you to that cover faster without draining much energy!

#2 If you cant stand being still, stuck in zoom, or cloaking; Try to use the reddot with the rifle, it turns ordinary sniper into a combat sniper.

#3 You hit spot on, 100 points!
**However sometimes I use a loadout that has airstomp II allowing you to fall any distance with no damage, it's quite remarkable how nice it is to fall 30 feet and be fine.

#4 While this can be effective for those 1v1 situtions always make sure to take a peak before you put yourself ontop of someone *giggity* Make sure that stealth kill remains a stealth kill!

#5 The other option would be to make the weapon work for you, adjust your customization settings. Put an under slung shotgun on your assult rifle, slap reddots on snipers, grab rapidfire with shotguns, almost anything is possible if you just put your mind to it!
**But sometimes you you may just need to switch weapons.
