RP General Discussion- IV

Yeah, I just looked it up. It looks interesting but it would mean finding another forum to post the entries in whereas the Fallout one is judged by a panel of relatively impartial judges.

I wasn't around during the Feyfolken although I have heard of them. I'd do it pretty much like in the fallout forum. The creator would decide the first theme and then everyone has a month to send in their Short Story and a group of impartial judges chose a winner, who'll get to give a new them for the next month. Or something like that.

or the very best writers of fanfics?

That's completely opinion-based on who the "best writers" are though.

Yeah I would pretty much do it the same as the fallout artwork and fan-fic forum.

We could have a vote and then they could rotate every month to be honest I wouldn't mind being a judge.

We should write down a list of who the cream of the crop are.

All of us obviously.

But in all seriousness that's a can of worms I personally don't want to open.

I would love to.

And I have officially joined with Yes Man to do the RP. When he said that I was on the fence, but I've joined up with him really now...

PM me or him for details if you want to join, we are still working on concepts...

You know what, there is enough elitism round these parts without that list. Just let the first 5 or so people who volunteer be the judges for each round.

Seeing as I suggested I guess I should be a judge for the first one. Anyone else going to help?

I'll do it. I've written a few fanfics, though none finished, and I have led 2 full RP's and 1 active one, I think I could qualify.

Eh... I'll judge if nobody else wants to. Could be fun, and I should read more fanfics here. Although I feel like there are some more experienced people who deserve the spot more.

Well don't let me stop you if you think a list of "the best" is the way to go. Its a forum contest though, so does it really matter who judges it?

Why the hell not.
There we go, we have four. Any ideas on topic for our first month? It'll have to be something easy as it's already halfway through the month.

No but it would be nice to have someone signed up for the first month at least, we can always rotate around so different people can answer.

Long enough to give us something to judge but not excessively so?

Maybe Self-Doubt as an opening theme. Like, say, a man's convictions falling apart, or someone being toyed with by a Daedra.

Something easy to write about, and fun.
