So, on the subject of Daroska's Akaviri World Building Project/Roleplay. What time period would it be set in? Perhaps Post-Skyrim, after the Empire's glorious victory over the Thalmor?

4th era sounds good, but I wouldn't go to specifics on who defeated the thalmor, just that the thalmor are defeated.

K. I think the provinces shouldn't be completely reunited, though. Having some areas (possibly Black Marsh and parts of Skyrim) be independent would create more political tension back home.

It won't be started anytime soon.

I need to first create a thread for the compendium to get Akavir's general cultures, environments and creatures noted down.
As well, If I can get anyone who is wise about japanese, chinese, mongol or tibetan lore on board then the project would be speeded up ten fold.
Otherwise I'd have to do a lot of wikipedia research by myself to fill in the blanks, on top of that is going through the Imperial Library for akaviri lore.

So if you or anyone else is interested in researching and communing about the designs of the continent, then I will greatly appreciate it.

The colony could be called the Imperial province of Akavir or The akaviri province for short but that's not interesting. Here's a list:

The new world
Far eastern provinces
and Lonith rock.

Not some good names but that's all I got

How about "The Dragon's Drop"? for it symbolizes the origin of the East Empire Company, the dragon empire and it's new landing in foreign shores.

I really wanna make my own Timeline where Dagoth Ur kicks the Tribunal's ass, and concurs Morrowind. But have the Aldmeri Dominion and a bunch of other powers rise on the side, and just engage in an all-out war.

If Dagoth Ur had defeated the Tribunal and had the time and tools to finish Anumidium, the Aldmeri Dominion would be the least of anyone's worries. House Dagoth was not on the brink of conquering Morrowind, but of reshaping Mundus itself. A victorious Sixth House would be the perfect set-up for a zombie apocalypse timeline come to think of it :tongue:

I know this. I wouldn't make Ur wreck too much havock, because I was aiming for something a little more political, or even just playable. Like a series of RPs or even mini RPs where you are in a faction striving to attain a goal, weather it be to stop the Sixth House controlled Morrowind or advance the goals of your own province.

Mmm, I don't think Asaps is part of the Timeline.

Wooly meant that a new one is about to go up. Its, like Werewolf said, more of a mini-RP to wrap up the time in Hammerfell. It'll be a siege RP, so military focus through and through. And everyone says politics but everyone knows there is never proper politics in these Rp's :laugh:

I've decided to homebrew the compendium myself, believing that a thread wouldn't garner enough attention for it to succeed.
The akaviri compendium should be completed in a few weeks after I tirelessly work my butt off to fill in lore, look through the IL & do wikipedia research.
However on the good side it's making me more knowledgeable on akavir lore in general. Tsaesci is much like cyrodiil in many ways.

Well, as you are offering so enthusiastically, I'll send you a page of the compendium via pm after every one I've completed.
You can check it for any lore mistakes, confusion, boring bits or just lack of vital information. Which I'll go about correcting.
And don't worry, there won't be heaps of these pages. I've just got to make six rather large pages in which to offer up summaries in.

Those being: Ka Po'Tun, Tsae-Sci, Tang Mo, Kamal, General Information (continent's classes, birthsigns, pantheons, curses, current timeline etc.).
