Firstly Big Empty can also be viewed as Big MT. MT is the abbreviation for mountain. Ergo Big Empty is actually Big mountain. There is no hints in dead Money whatsoever towards New Canon and the Burned man. This is odd because you'd think they'd want to advertise the next DLC. Big empty is heavily advertised. Zion National park will be in the dlc as is confirmed by the recently discovered snowglobe. If you look on google maps you'll see that Big Mountain is right next to Zion National Park. Therefore both the big empty and the burned man are part of the same dlc. This means we have absolutely no info on Old World Blues and it will likely be teased in Honest Hearts. I'm a genius!

Nice job how long did it take you to figure it out.

I don't know if ur being sarcastic. It came to me when I was reading a terminal in dead money that talked about Sinclair's contacts at Big Mountain.

You may be on to something considering its official name is Big Mt. Training Facility. However, I hope Honest Hearts has nothing to do with it. I'd prefer having a fleshed out New Canaan with Zion National Park wilderness to explore. And think about it, Honest Hearts, and New Canaan is a Mormon town. Don't think it's a coincidence.

Big Mountain pass was used by the Mormons.

Maybe so, but Joshua Graham is from New Canaan. A DLC with him and New Canaan sounds more likely than a DLC with him and the Big Empty. Who knows, they could all be in one DLC, I just prefer it if they weren't. Honestly, I'd expect for DLC locations to be New Canaan, Big Empty, and then whatever the Divide is. Big Empty could easily be a massive facility that an entire DLC could be in, so yeah.

I agree that Big MT should be it's own dlc but it looks like the three locations are rolled into one. I wonder if the tech that makes grahm invincible is in the Big MT?

As far as we know, in VB he was basically supposed to be a badass, no tech involved. Elijah mentions the Ciphers, perhaps they have something to do with it?

I don't think I heard him mention them in-game, I just know that he did.

Interesting stuff. I'd prefer if they stayed separate though. Perhaps their locations just result in Joshua talking about the Big Empty a few times. Maybe Honest Hearts gives you a little extra info on Big MT before you go there.

I think we will see The Big Empty in Old World Blues not Honest Hearts

That entire wiki page is speculation as is what I'm saying both theories are equally likely at this point.

At this point (not knowing what the story line of either will be), I'll just be happy for a DLC that gives me open, clean air and blue skies. I enjoyed Dead Money, but it puts me in the mood for something else (that and a long, hot shower :P).

Considering it's been all but revealed that Big MT is the next dlc and that they've taken extra long to make this dlc I think it could be very likely that honest hearts and old world blues have been combined.

If their all three rolled into one area, than that would make the dlc map about three fourths the size of the Mojave. I highly doubt they would put that much effort into a dlc. Although it would be awsome if they did.

It's at least a beneficial reason they're taking so long.

Why do people assume MT stands for Mountain? MT is simple a "Street" way of spelling Empty.

It is the abbreviation of the word "Mountain". Pretty reasonable to assume it has something to do with a mountain.

Yes, but there is a big chance that is just big empty.

No. The Big Empty was Big MT in Van Buren.
