OK Geniuses

Thanks so much for the 20 different types of awnings and roofs with holes for my wooden buildings. Outstanding. Very helpful.

Now, could we please do a couple of practical things.

1. Mod out the grass

2. Allow us to level the ground in the settlements or atleast have structures contour to the terrain

3. A few more options for ladders and steps so we can actually get on top of things

4. Settler and Follower paths. Why are they always in my way??? Thanks though for the option to pistol whip them the other versions of Fallut never allowed for that. Please fix this.

5. Preset pet commands. STAY and FOLLOW are NOT enough. How about Stay the [censored] behind me. Aggressive/Passive/Reactive or Attack the closest

6. Why can I still see though walls and see enemy body parts/weapons. Is this always going to be with us?

7. I NEED to know which settlers are assigned which tasks. I can't get behind everyone single one of them and try and see which vegetable gets highlighted.

8. Auto RUN when I'm getting attacked. Stealth failed and now I have to push CTRL and CAPS LOCK in order to run? By then I"m dead.

9. Weapon/Armor/Power Armor modifying should allow me to grab stuff out of storage. Why do I have to carry it all with me and put unused mods back one by one?

10. Grenade path/arc? A Molotov Cocktail thrown at the side of a building will get the guys below. Believe me it's liquid assited by gravity. Hello?

11. My genius character can't figure out how to squeeze between a 5' wide space or step over the sleeping cat? Come on, It's fustrating enough already.

12. How about some random ommunity leaders that could take care of the settlements? I have to manually make everyone's bed and plant their carrots?

13. How about a few more premade: BUILDINGS, BUNKBED, GARDEN PATCH?

I'm sure there are many, many more but this baker's dozen would really improve my quality time. Thanks

1. What's wrong with the grass?

2. Yes, putting the wooden platforms or concrete blocks whenever you want to build a small shack is rather awkward and kind of an overkill.

5. Whole companion system calls for a serious rework, they mostly feel just like an extra meat shield or bullet sponge.

6. Ancient engine, I suppose.

7. Many people tend to give their settlers certain headwear depending on the job they have. It's still tedious and annoying, there ought to be some interface like in Fallout Shelter.

8. Why just not release Ctrl and hold-to-walk buttons?

10. Engine again, I guess.

11. Yet you can wear a power armor and walk through a 4' x 3' wall crack with no effort. Still cannot step over a cat, though.

12. Automatic building would be rather annoying, but ordering a settlement to focus on salvage/caps/crops would be useful, though.

13. Yes, more premade buildings would be really useful.

1. What's wrong with the grass?

  • When I plant a garden I like to get rid of the weeds
  • The enemy can see me and I can't see them through the grass.
  • Reminds me, I hate getting shot and because I don't have surround sound, I don't know where the fire is coming from sometimes.

8. Why just not release Ctrl and hold-to-walk buttons?

  • Trying to survive instead.
  • The time it takes to do that is life or death sometimes

12. Automatic building would be rather annoying, but ordering a settlement to focus on salvage/caps/crops would be useful, though.

  • I was thinking more along the lines of just taking care of basic things until I could get there.
  • Automatic building could be annoying but at least it would be an option if you don't want to get involved
  • Yes, the citizens are unhappy so what's wrong with planting some carrots or digging a well.
  • Hiring a village leader and giving them a signal flare would be kind of handy too.
  • I mean you've got 1,000 privates and one General..not much of a leadership structure.
  • I guess I have to do everything. lol

For the walking thing... why not just set it to defauly to running, and then hold c for when you want to sneak? Stealth fails, let go of c, and you're already running.

Grenade arcs aren't that realistic, come on the arc will be the same just gotta practice with your equipment. We don't hear of this from metro 2033 players as a complaint.

I hope there are mods to help you out, you might wanna check them out since they already exist and bethesda will take years to make changes.
