Genocide

So pretty much half the fun of oblivion and fallout was going around and slaughtering all the nice folks that have only shown you kindness. How long after you have started the game will you start your genocidic rampage and how many people will fall victim to your malice

I usually do this right as I'm about to get off after saving.

Genocide isn't the right word. But yeah, usually right after saving when I'm about to quit.

Never, and none.
Im very meticulous in never taking a life carelessly.

Some innocent people may be in the way of me saving the world, in which case an.. accident is a possibility, but I will never outright slaughter any non-hostile.

My characters don't usually commit mass murder, I just don't see the point. Now my character isn't a pacifist and she will dirty her hands if the opportunity arises. :chaos:

Well, with killing an npc, that's basically just one interesting character that I've wasted, as soon as they're gone the world feels less alive... So, to sum up, IMMEDIATELY!!! >8@

Lion-O doesn't kill innocents.

But I probably will do a lot of killing of innocents on other characters.

At least one to allow my character to infiltrate and later destroy as much of the Dark Brotherhood as possible.

It is if you systematically destroy every Argonian you come across >8)

When I save to quit I'm usually thinking about just quitting after a gaming marathon... but sometimes, if I'm feeling terrible, I'll save my game and then go on a killing spree. It's also possible that I'll role-play my character as a psychotic serial axe murderer, in which case I wouldn't have to save the game before I murder some innocent farmhand!

I hate it when people play Bethesda's games like Grand Theft Auto. I will not be going on any rampages because that completely misses the point of the game.

I'll wait 'til I find a town or outpost that I don't like, do all the quests I can find there, and then raze the whole joint.

If I can kill by destroying farms and economies and causing mass famine, entire cities will be wiped out. Although I doubt NPCs will actually starve to death. Otherwise, probably none, I haven't ever been able to commit to a purely evil character.

I only really did any killing of innocents in Fallout. I felt like it was something that a person lacking morals might do in a post-apocalyptic setting, and on my "bad guy" character I would sometimes kill people who had something I really wanted, or needed. However, in TES there is still rule of law so you're basically just a serial/spree killer. Which is a weird thing to RP in a fantasy setting. Whatever though. Sometimes I will save the game, and kill people, just to see what armor they have, and then reload my game. Thats about it.

EDIT: Just wanted to add, that if half of the fun was random slaughter, roleplaying games may not be for you. Where's the story in that? :)

but that is the wonderful thing about the elder scrolls, there is no definite point to the game. You can do whatever. You can go and save some kidnapped children or kill an entire town. There are a million ways to play an elder scroll game and that is why we are all on the forums right now
