Try setting your computers as DMZ in your router software. It works for me.

I have all right on my router, ports, dmz, UPnP, I can play on Xbox 360 without being desconnected, I think the problem isnt my config but the servers...

Disable any kind of overlay programs you have running, except ofc Steam.

Fraps comes to mind, any other kind of software that overlays that the anti cheat might catch.

I disable all my programs, EVGA Precision, fraps, msn, mail, IE all off and remains the same problema :|

It's most likely nothing on your side of things, I wouldn't bother doing all of that, you're most likely just wasting your time, Just wait for an official statement/patch being released.

And i'm in the same boat as you, just incase you thought i was only able to say that as i was able to play.

This happens to me too, but its not frequent. Some times It happens three games in a row and sometimes I can play for a couple hours and zero problems. I imagine its growing pains.

Hello,

I also have the issue, there is no consistent time or pattern when the drops occur. I have dropped several minutes into a game, other times it drops me from the lobby. When i drop, i always lose XP. I'm currently running a solid network using Linksys routers. I'm not convinced this is a local network issue.

Please share any fixes you may have and resolve this as quickly as possible.

Kind regards,
Talshiar

Thomspon speedtouch modem/routers had this problem in Bad Company 2 too.
The workaround there was to disable UPnP.

I am also having this problem. I had it in the beta as well, but I thought hey, it is a beta, no big deal. The thing that really irks me is that after each disconnected, any progress I made in leveling up or upgrading modules is lost. That is crap.

I do have a d-link router for those who asked earlier.

this

your just gunna waste your time/ get very frustrated trying to play with the disconnects all the time id rather just not play until its fixed than try and play with DC every 1-2 mins mabey by my days off next week it will be fixed

I had the same problem. I enabled DMZ and now it works without problems.
Here a pic from my Web Configurator (German).

well i tried opening all the ports and that didnt work but surely setting your pc as a DMZ cant be the only way as this puts your PC at alot of risk :s
