That svcks and I dont understand that when God of War III and AVP got through clasification over there. I think you can import it from something called Play Asia? which works out cheaper I think since games are marked up in australia anyway.

You -edit- can import it, but if customs finds it you will be fined I think $1000 or 3x(?) the value of the game. They have a moderate chance of finding it considering people will likely be having them shipped around the game's release date.
