» Sat May 28, 2011 8:24 am Yes and No. FO1 you can avoid them completely. FO2 there is only a couple of them and you can avoid them as well. Tactics well you are a BoS. FO3 is the worst were you are forced to help them, they are the final quest. New Vegas you still have to deal with them but they are not a critical part of New Vegas. If you want PA then yea I guess they are.
As long as PA needs "training" I have a feeling the BoS will be in every game from now on no matter where we go, for they are the keepers of the shiny toys :gun:

I have to agree here, and it only IMHO reinforces my point that change will be coming with the brotherhood, not easily, not quickly, but it will be coming, and if the Brotherhood is where you need to go to get Power Armor Training, so be it, as Power Armor makes your average person more difficult to kill( i am not saying they cannot be killed), and in the wrong hands, makes that person a lot more dangerous to stop without the right weapons. Better they have a presence in every game, and control the heavy tech, then let it go wild in any wasteland, even the backwards West coast branches.
